Okay, so, tried it with a Mando dom, but got sidetracked by an increased work schedule and other things so it never really got off the ground.
How would folks feel about a Wheel Tournament or Championship? We've had tournaments using swords and tournaments using this or that or lightsabers or fists... But what about something like KOTOR or other tournament style games and scenarios?
How would folks feel about a 'No Holds Barred' style tournament sponsored and held by Tenloss on the Wheel. It'd be televised and promoted throughout the galaxy, so you'd get a lot of IC recognition in some ways. It'd also be regulated to make things a little less unbalanced by banning insta-kill or insta-vaporizing weapons (like disruptors and a lot of those really rare poisons/toxins you find here and there) and that sort of thing. Cater to NFUs and FUs alike and such.
It'd be totally nonlethal, kind of like how they did the arena in KOTOR with the nullification field and such overhead, so no risk of character death.
Thoughts? Comments? Vegetables?
