A lifetime ago she had family. A lifetime ago she had people who loved and cared about her. Even if that lifetime was only fourteen years. To Riley that was a long time, most of her life in fact. At nineteen she had been through far more than most at that age, and very little of it was good. When she was five, she was kidnapped by a Hutt named Arko and put through strenuous military training in order to be part of his private army. She suffered through pain, trauma and surgeries that gave her prosthetic and cybernetic enhancements. Over the years she had forgotten what life was like before the age of five. The memories were like trying to see the world through frosted glass, blurry with muffled voices. Even after the fall of Arko the Hutt and her first steps to freedom, Riley resigned herself to the fact that her family was too far out of reach to be found again.
That was until a week prior. A contact she normally received jobs from handed her a photo of a woman who looked near identical to herself, minus the obvious prosthetics and cybernetics. This raised a whole slew of questions. Who was this woman? Was she her sister or something else? With it came a new sense of hope she hadn't felt in years. A hope that maybe she found a family member or a link to them. Either way, Riley needed answers.

A few days later in Coruscant's under city.
The crowded streets of Coruscant weren't the easiest to navigate, and Riley's short stature didn't help any. You either moved with the steady stream of sentient beings, found a space to the side of the street or got swept away, there really didn't seem to be an in between. Luckily her destination was with the flow, but that didn't make finding her destination any less of a challenge. Most sentients were taller than her, which made spotting the brighter colored neon signs past everyone's heads even harder. The little datapad in her hands did its best to give an accurate route. Twenty minutes and several almost wrong turns later, she had finally reached her destination. A cantina that was somewhat popular with freighter captains and other spacers. The multi colored neon sign beckoned the weary to come inside and relinquish their troubles. Her cybernetic eyes moved from the sign to the Gamorrean bouncer who stood outside. He eyed the petite woman in front of him and she eyed him back. Riley was wearing brown cargo pants, black combat boots and a black tank top, underneath that she had the bodysuit to her personal armor. The bouncer himself mostly just saw the oversized poncho she wore, faded gray with two thin orange stripes on each shoulder. The hood was pulled up casting her face in shadow, except her glowing cybernetic eyes. Most importantly, it covered the heavy blaster resting on her hip. The Gamorrean finally just gave a shrug and let her in.
Smoke hung loosely in the semi dark room. The music was a little louder than Riley was used to, but most of the crowd seemed to ignore the volume or were celebrating loud enough to drown it out. The bar itself was well lit, while the corner booths were less lit and offered more privacy. Riley moved towards one of the corner booths and sat down. She pulled the datapad from the pocket of her dark brown cargo pants and stared at the picture of the woman she was trying to find. Sure she had seen the picture about a hundred or so times since she got it, but it was still hard to believe. The last few sightings had been in this cantina, the why was still a mystery, but it was a start.
