What One Does to Not be the Third Wheel.(Solo)

(This thread takes place in the past :D )
Elayne looked at the book before her. It was her most precious belonging. It was a book of spells and her training guide. This was how she was going to train since being gone from home. It was hard to train alone but she could do it, she smiled sitting in the empty training room of Syn's ship. This was hopefully the time she would get to master some new spells.

Elayne put her fingers over the words of the Shield Spell tracing the letters as she read them to herself, trying to memorize them. She only said them to herself at first, it wasn't time to try the spell now, she needed to be familiar with the words and the meaning of the spell. It was an important spell, one to protect her from other powers and spells.

Elayne spent an hour or more studying and remembering the words before she first tried to say the words out loud drawing the force to her as she did so, casting the spell but not much happened, but she knew something did. It was ok, she smiled and tried again, saying the words watching her pronunciation. That was when she got a shield for 5 or so seconds. She smirked it was working and that was amazing as a new spell always was.

It was many days of this, and a while before she was brave enough to do the next bit. She set up a training droid to shoot at her with it's training lasers. She gulped as she stood in front of it and mentally recited the spell until she saw the droid tense and she shouted it off reciting the words quickly and got it off mostly in time as he felt the laser hit her training armor. Again she would try it but this time no laser got through, she smiled as the shield stopped them. It was amazing and now she just had to keep doing that, making sure that she could hopefully do it in real combat. That was after all the real goal of this so that she could defend herself against others.

Elayne returned to the book, turning to a different page this time, her fingers tracing the elegant pacean words. This was going to be challenging she though as she only read them in her mind, not daring to let such a spell out in a ship. She giggled at the thought of a wind inside syn's ship. Hours spent reading the words and committing them to memory. She wanted to make sure she knew them before going outside to try them. They were on tython after all.

This was a spell that she hoped she would get right, if she did then she could knock over the large can that use to hold useful things. The narrow yet tall can stood there in defiance as she recited the words and nothing happened. Which was not what she had hoped but then again this was her third try, and she still hadn't gotten the thing to move. Elayne sighed and wished she could just go crawl in bed with Flynn but she needed to practice.

So practice she did as she recited the spell for a fourth time, putting all her effort into the pronunciation and such. It was exciting she thought as she felt the wind blow and she smiled and jumped up and down until she heard the crash, and the object she had 'borrowed' from [member="Syn"] was now broke. She blushed and walked away pretending it wasn't her Spell of Tempest that just had broke his vase thing.
