What lies within a slumbering factory

War, it was a constant, just as much as death was to the Ti'Xal. The species while not entirely focused upon leaving their own system, least of all their own world, still managed to construct more than their fair share of death dealing weapons, beasts and machines. For countless ages their world was covered in death and war, until their final moments when all life simply vanished in a blink of an eye. The Ti'Xal were no more, and their structures, their grand monasteries, fortresses and cities lay vacant as they crumbled to dust and ash. Of course there were those whom still had use for such things, and it never hurt to discover that which lay beneath the surface. As they pushed forward the Dark Lady stopped for a moment, allowing herself that time to admire the large iron doors of the monastery that lay before them. Her eyes glancing over it before she nodded, flicking her wrist as she motioned for those few that had graciously and of course willingly provided themselves to the ancient Great Old One, were sent to force open the gates.

"How long has it been since this place last saw such activity?"

Her words seemed poised to those around her, or even the very air as if some ancient spirit would answer. A sly smirk crossed upon her lips as she heard the loud screeching of the rusted doors upon one another. Watching as they were forced open with a loud shuttering growl as their old tracts became torn and destroyed. The doors now stuck open as she stepped forward, her boots pressing into the dust that had gathered over the thousands of years within the courtyard of the ancient monastery. Her eyes moved from the walls that surrounded the courtyard to the smaller doors of the structure before them.

Slowly stepping forward, her hand pressed against the old rusted metal door, slowly pushing as it creaked and groaned to life. A gust of stale air rushing from within the monastery as dust kicked up into the air. A smirk still crossing her lips as she stopped for a moment before looking over her shoulder.

"Shall we?"

[member="Marmora"] was creepy. This place was creepy. The air was creepy, the floor was creepy, the interior decor was creepy. Nej shrugged when the great big scary Sith(ish) lady posed a question."Probably only back when wearing Revan's mask as a toy was cool. I suspect this place is pretty friggin old, and pretty friggin' scary."Nej grimaced when the doors finally opened, revealing a centuries old tomb that probably would be better left untouched. Such was the nature of tombs. Tombs and force users never ended up well. He walked in, his AR-35 assault rifle hanging lowly at his side. Nej glanced around, turning to face the woman after stepping inside.

"You're a strange lady to want to come in here, you know that?"

Holding the KX-60 rifle in his hands, right index finger on the trigger and barrel pointing to the ground, Kail followed [member="Nej Tane"] and [member="Marmora"] inside the tomb.

The other merc seemed to have enough answers for them both, so Kail said nothing. He just looked around at the vastly eerie space of the tomb. It pretty much could be any tomb, and it didn't matter to Kail what was in there. As long as he got paid and get out with his life, he was happy. He'd given his service to the mysterious lady before him so that was as good as his word.

Looking back outside as they stepped in, the darkness seemed to close in around them as the lady was very confident in her steps. But who wouldn't be with two gun wielding maniacs watching your back.

"Seems we've missed the party."

His eyes swept up above and across the floor; one thing he had learnt in his travels was if a place was TOO quiet...it meant there was trouble lurking around the corner.

"So what now lady? You got us in here, what's your plan."

"Rebirth."

A simple enough answer to the question as to why they were there in that ancient place. With her back still to the two, her eyes pierced into the dark as her arms slowly rose. Her hands held out as she snapped her fingers. In that moment the large braziers on either side of that burst into flames, the light coming from them now dimly pushing back the darkness in the hall as she stepped forward once more. A few more steps before she stopped, her arms rising once more and snapping her fingers again. The braziers on either side of her burst to life once more in the darkness, the hall slowly becoming illuminated with each movement as she stepped forward again. While many it looked as if she was strong in the force, it was simply trickery and illusion. The flint and stone in her hands provided the spark needed to bring life back into the oil that waited.

"This is no simple tomb. This is a place that has long since been silenced and desires to be awakened again. Soon it shall see life again, and its fires shall burn as it breaths smoke."

The Dark Lady spoke with a small smirk on her lips before she stepped down to the last step, once more repeating her motions. This time though the braziers flashed, the oil filling pipes that ran through the large dark room that the hall opened up to. Soon enough the room began to burst to life again, other braziers connected to one another burst into flames as the room was flooded with light. Before them rested a large armory, suits of ancient armor resting on stands, some in completely different places of completion. Slowly she stepped forward into the room, her hand running along the dusty curiass before her as she smirked. The dust rising and falling as her slender digits ran across the metal as she looked around.

"Listen to the silence. Hear the whispers of the dead."

Training his KX down still, Kail followed her footsteps and listened carefully to her words; dark, mystical and enticing with a hint of danger to her. From behind, it was clear how powerful she felt due to her walk and impressive armour. She was certainly a warrior, that was for sure.

As she raised her hands to conjure some mystical power, probably something like the Force he knew little about, Kail turned his head to watch the orange flames spit into life along the tomb from the braziers. He was impressed, and watched in awe as light effortlessly flooded the room they were in. Kail smirked and shook his head at the tricks that certain people had been blessed with.

And before them appeared the armour, illuminated by the hellish glow of the fires. Only the crackling of flame could be heard behind her voice as she spoke, trance-like, about her intentions.

Lowering his weapon, Kail was taken aback by the horde that was hidden away from others.

"What IS this place?"

Stepping forward past his fellow mercenary, he stood by the Dark Lady and looked on the armour beneath them, trying to identify anything about the origins or creators, but he was too impressed by the craftsman ship to care.

Nej was taken aback by the sudden illumination. Okay, so the creepy lady- got way creepier. Even though her in that outfit, fwooh. That was some hot witch lady action going on. Though he'd rather not be turned into a toad or something along those lines. He blinked, and then gulped. He moved forward, lumbering further into the ancient place. The armor, all the armor. And the fires, casting an eerie glow on it all. Her words didn't help his creepy sensation.

Nej was busy calculating the credit value of the place, before he saw [member="Marmora"] and [member="Kail Ragnar"] talking. He was inclined to agree with his fellow mercenary, though he didn't say so verbally, until he did. And it was the main focus of his purpose in life.

"Wonder how much this place is worth..."

"This place...... It is death."

The words slowly danced upon the stale air within the large armory as she smirked quietly. Listening to the musings of those around them. Slowly stepping forward, she ran a finger along the dusty curiass before her. The ornate and carved reliefs of an ancient deity rest upon them, symbolized by a single eye. Quietly lifting up one of the pieces she slowly turned it and lay it down once more. Her hand brushing across it as she smirked quietly. Looking up slowly as she watched the fire eerily illuminate the room.

"It is here."

"Deep within..... waiting in the darkness."

"They all are."

Quietly she listened to the whispers as they guided her. Turning towards the solid wall of the room that they stood within. Bringing her hand up she lightly touched a single block, before her other hand pressed against a second relief image that was carved into the stone. As the others looked upon the small gathering of items in that single room, she looked forward. The smirk growing on her lips as she pushed her hands forward before finally answering the question of worth and credits.

"So much more than can be counted."

As her words finished a loud hiss tore through the room. The dust blowing across as the flames flickered for a single moment. The wall before her groaning as it slowly opened, the doors pulling back to reveal more that was hidden beyond the single room. Looking over her shoulder she smirked as she turned to the side, bringing her arm up slowly to reveal what was on the other side. Much like the room they stood within there was another, yet this one seemingly traveled far beyond the simple confines of the little room. This was what she was after, the ancient complex or an ancient religion. The flames slowly died down before they burst to life again as thousands of braziers burst to life to reveal a massive ancient factory.

"We've only begun."

In awe of the tomb, Kail lived for this sort of adventure. He didn’t want the fame, but rather the fortune and glory that could surround the discoveries of ancient artefacts, mythical relics and dark history.

He carefully followed the mystical Dark Lady before him, the fellow merc a few steps beside him as he flexed his fingers over the KX-60 in his hands. Stepping over a small pile of rubble, his boots crunching the small stone beneath him, Kail stopped behind her as she flashed that enticing smile and let her voice wrap around them, almost creating some intoxicating calling to the whole tomb.

A shiver ran up his spine.

The room felt like it shook as the Dark Lady performed another small feat of power, this time sourcing and opening a large section of the wall before them where nothing appeared at first sight except ancient carvings on the stone.

Kail stepped back a step as he looked up to see the wall give way to part; a hidden door. Dust and rock fell down as the disturbed entrance was revealed for them to pass through, and they did so carefully and once more in awe of just what secrets lay within this seemingly small –

- Oh, you gotta be kidding…

The three of them were now dwarfed before what looked like a huge factory, full of apparent machinery and deadly looking creations that could date back centuries. Fire belched out from more braziers around the room itself and causing factory to take on a hellish glow from the orange flame, mixed with the brown stone and rust peppered around them.

”Ok, now I want answers. What is this place…”

Kail pushed forward to stand beside the Dark Lady, a staggered expression on his face as he took in the sight in before him.
