What Happens There Stays There

The Admiralty
Codex Judge
High Port Space Center
Muunilinst

It was a quiet and peaceful afternoon upon which a few businessmen decided to come together in one of the many buildings scattered around the Space Center orbiting the planet of Muunilinst and discuss their livelihood. Business was good these days for the Tion Hegemony, money flowed, wars were brewing - all in all a thriving climate for the savvy Sith Lords of these days.

Two of the, [member="Darth Janus"] and the Sith Lord, Jared Ovmar, found themselves sitting in the lobby of one of the more prestigious banking operations of Muunilinst. Strictly speaking they weren’t exactly the organ one had to visit if they were wanted to talk about strengthening the bonds between the Hegemony and the InterGalactic Banking Clan, but strictly speaking… the Bank never really strengthened their bonds with any foreign entity whatsoever.

Things changed when you had twisted the mental faculties of some of the important people in the Clan though… things changed.

Better not broadcast such facts though.

Which was the reason why Janus and Ovmar would meet them in a more neutral location at a place where they were expected to come.

Which, consequently, was when I decided to jump out of the window and take my chances there.’ The Sith Lord related to his companion, while they were waiting on being received by the Magisters. ‘You’d be surprised what happens and stays in Zeltros, my friend.’

[member="Jared Ovmar"]

"Yes, surprised indeed." Janus replied, deciding not to admit to his many visits to the planet, particularly to a certain group of carafels. Anything he did on Zeltros was best left undocumented and never discussed in public spaces. Or private ones for that matter. "I can't imagine how you've managed to stay alive this long."

Janus was quite obviously being facetious when pondering how Ovmar had managed to stay alive this long. The answer to that was best summed up as "transfer essence." Janus had no desire to learn such an eldritch art or put it into practice. He saw the stupid things people did when they weren't afraid of the permanency of death. Ovmar, surprisingly, responsible for only a small amount of them. Whatever the case, they were here to discuss business affairs with the most powerful banking force in the galaxy. Not wax nostalgic about hooker-laden and drug-infused expeditions to Zeltron.

A therapy session would be better for that.

He lifted his wrist, glancing down at the chronometer attached to it. If these representatives kept them waiting much longer, they'd be late. Who in their right mind would keep representatives of the foremost alliance of corporate entities waiting beyond the appointed time? Truly, these Muuns had gall larger than their tremendous foreheads. Then again, if Janus owned the galaxy's largest banking clan, he would keep a lot of people waiting as well.
