Strengths: Resistant- The WESTAR Skirmisher Armor is made out of several different types of materials which all work together to create an armor with resistances to many forms of damage. From blasters to slug rounds thanks to the flex armor and durasteel, to acid, heat, cold, and electricity thanks to the silicar. There is little that this armor can't handle.
Mobile- The WESTAR Skirmisher Armor is designed for mobility with protection. The joints are left with as little hindering them as possible. This means that the wearer of the armor can move with as close to natural flexibility as possible.
Weaknesses: Repair- Between the silicar and the flex armor used to create the WESTAR Skirmisher Armor, it is difficult to repair. When a part becomes damaged it is easier to just replace the piece than to try to repair it. This means that replacement parts are needed for repairs, and can leave the wearer in a tough spot out in the field if they lack them.
Protection- While the WESTAR Skirmisher Armor does offer protection and is resistant to many things, it is still not as protective as armor made out of straight durasteel would be. The main forms of protection are the armorweave and flex armor, which while both light weight and offering good levels of protection, can not offer the levels of protection that durasteel and duraplast can offer.

Description: When Gray bought WESTAR he gave the company a new area in which they could create products, armor. So with that in mind his designers got on top of making a set of medium armor that they could sell on the open market. They decided to make a set of armor that offers both protection and mobility to the user, leading to the idea that became the Skirmisher armor.

The WESTAR Skirmisher Armor was created by having a bodyglove made out of two layers of armorweave with a silicar lining between them. Over this plates made out of layering flex armor over silicar repeatedly until an appropriate thickness was achieved. The joints were left uncovered to retain the wearer's natural flexibility. The helmet, gauntlets, and boots were made by replacing the flex armor with durasteel. The helmet was also given a silicar lens to keep its resistances even across the entire suit.

The designers then made it so the wrists, back, and belt could have attachments added or removed from them. The gauntlets had crushgaunt added onto them to allow for increased strength onto the gripping power of the wearer. The helmet was given many different features from night vision to heat vision on the HUD. A binocular was added as well to the outside that can be lowered and lifted as needed. The communication system was added onto the helmet as well that could be activated via voice or pressing the side of the helmet. A rebreather and filter were the finishing touch added to the helmet. The suit was then vacuum sealed and thanks to the silicar aiding in retaining body temperature means the wearer can handle the heat of deserts such as Tatooine or the freezing void of space. The boots were then given the ability to be magnetic so that one could stay latched onto ship while in zero gravity.
