Strengths: Load Me- The WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load" is an arms attachment that is versatile in what it can use as ammunition. It can be loaded with grenades specially designed for grenade launchers as well as more standard explosives such as thermal detonators and Ion detonators. This means the user has a wider range of options when it comes to ammo out in the field offered to it.

Weaknesses: No Shorties- The WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load" is not designed to be used on handguns. The attachment is only able to be attached to guns with longer barrels such as sub-machine guns, shotguns, and rifles. Any barrel that does not have some length for them. This means handguns such as blasters, pistols, and revolvers can not equipt the attachment as well as shorter barreled SGMs and shotguns.

Description: The designers at WESTAR found they wanted to play around with some different types of explosives, but had no toy that would let them do that. So they pulled up their thinking pants, literally, and began to figure out a design for a toy that would ultimately let them do that. They decided upon an arms attachment rather than a grenade launcher due to the lack of many good arms options on shelves of the weapon industry as well as their own company. And so with some experimentation and extensive prototype testing they ended up with the WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load", which followed their pattern of nicknaming their attachments.

The WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load" is a grenade launcher created mostly out of durasteel. The barrel of the launcher is made out of the material as well as the case containing the electronic components. The key feature of it however is that it uses railgun technology to launch the grenades and detonators using electromagnetism. The explosives sit on a basket made mostly out of silicar that protects the explosives from the electricity, so they do not explode while being launched as well, and then a durasteel bottom that is what is actually being propelled forward. The basket is stopped at the end of the barrel which causes the inertia to carry the projectile beyond it to it's destination. The basket is then carried back to the end of the barrel via a magnet lock attached to a lever that holds the basket until it is primed and ready to be launched once more.

The WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load" attaches itself to the barrels of weapons by using a magnetic lock. This allows it to stay completely secured to the weapon until it is deactivated to remove it. These locks are located on just one side of the attachment with the other side containing a silicar grip so that the user can use it to more easily hold the barrel of their weapon up. The attachment is designed so that is can operate perfectly fine no matter what the angle it is attached to the weapon at. Both sides of the attachment contain the lever and buttons used to operate it. These buttons include the ones used to activate/deactivate the magnetic locks, prime the launcher, and fire the launcher off. The last feature is a switch that works as a safety so it doesn't go off by accident when not intended to be fired.

[member="Gray Raxis"], this looks conceptually solid.

I would probably use the ranged weapons template for this though, and based on that, this seems to be missing a few headings (weight, length, rate of fire, ammunition capacity).

[member="Gray Raxis"], sorry, but I just realized that this also needs "Ammunition Type" and "Classification" headings. I know it's all there in the description, but again, we can't omit fields from the template.
