We make peace with our enemies

Once again, Mara had left residence on Dathomir to wander: only this time, she had strayed from her usual, more Force-related course of adventure to visit the city planet of Coruscant and see what there was to learn from its residents.

After hiring a ride to the planet and parking at the city center, Mara had found an apartment and a temporary job as a bodyguard for some rich businessman. She didn't enjoy it, but martial arts were a useful skill and rich men had so much money that they often lost track of what services were actually worth and instead paid double that.

Having been freed from that job once her contract ended, Mara had been forced to dress in the business-casual dress suit she hated and once again, hunt for work.

Kiran pushed forward, using all of his momentum, against the individual who had just pulled out a blade on him in the alleyway near the entertainment district. Kiran push up on the blade's hilt holding it up above him as he launched his head against the man who attacked him. The headbutt was on point as it loosened the grip and the young man pulled the blade away and tossed it to the side. Within just a few moment Kiran launched a series of punches against the man with the final one an uppercut that knocked his attacker clean out.

"Next time, I'll kill you." Kiran muttered under his breath, not that he would be able to hear it. Kiran backed away for a moment as he looked to either side of the alleyway. He straigthened himself up and kicked the knife away a bit. Kiran started off with a jog out of the alleyway and soon was walking among the busy streets, trying to get away from that particular area.

It was just another day.
