We Are Not What We Seem

[member="Connor Harrison"]

The prototype star destroyer drifted slowly thru the Maw as the dark lord of Eclipstica stood on it's bridge with his eyes watching, just watching. It had been sometime since the revelation of the ancient entity known as Abeloth had been pointed out to Romeo, and the notion that there was a chance to grasp new power through this discovery had intrigued the Vahla to a form of obsession in finding the legendary Pool of Knowledge, and Font of Power. The font was a deep pool of darkside energy from what he had understood from the story, a way to get more of what one wanted with a simple sip of it's water. Kind of like a fountain of youth without the youth part being relevant. Still, the Sith Lord had begun to come to terms that this was fate, and he had to follow this path.

Hours upon hours later, the rogue Sith found himself over the planet with no name, no indication that it was the right one as far as records, and the eyes could tell. One had to be deeply connected to the force to know this was it. The energies that prodded his body, and spirit as he reached out told him he had found it. With a simple gesture, a shuttle had been prepared for the Lord of Fire to which he would find himself on soon enough. Blood Knights followed the man to the shuttle, but he halted them. Where the Vahla was going, they could not follow, they were not strong enough for this trial.

The shuttle was vague in a way that Romeo had pretty much forgot most of the details of it as it landed on the planet's surface. The feeling that was waving inside him as his foot touched it's soil completely taking his full attention from the rest of the things happening around him, making them irrelevant.
