Description:
With the Republic facing war on two fronts and with the military and navy lacking in modern equipment, it was deemed necessary by the government to bring its armed forces to a technologically superior level.
The Warden-class Body Armor was created under this new, modern concept. Made from duraplast for protection, the armor proves resistant to both blaster and kinetic weapons equally. Alusteel reduces overall weight of the armor while an armorweave underlayer helps protect the wearer from shrapnel and offers a very limited protection against glancing lightsaber blows, though a solid blow or thrust will easily cut through the armorweave. The armor also features a helmet system with a wide variety of HUD systems and tools equivalent to most Mandalorian helmets. The Warden armor also features hard points for gear and equipment as well as carrying harnesses to allow for more to be carried far more easily. The armor is also fully sealed and features a two hour oxygen supply. Overall, the armor is versatile, durable, and highly capable of protecting the Republic soldiers it’s issued to.
