The travel from Ghorman to Naboo was smooth but Laurent’s hands can’t stop from sweating throughout the way. He hasn’t known the Grandmaster of The Jedi Order for long, yet he’s leaving home just to meet her.
His precious home; the jewel of the Mid Rim, the home of the brave and the free.
The Ghormans reputation extends through the galaxy as this group of proud, independent, even arrogant people with rebellious streak. The Griffon cannot deny, those traits can be found in many Ghormans, including himself.
Laurent is one of the highest ranking Jedi in Ghorman Enclave. They are fiercely independent, secretive, and non-partisan; focusing on social works and protecting the planet from Dark Side threats, yet something else entirely, a new threat, two, even, has been bothering his mind for the past few years, a concern that he wishes he can share with his new confidant. He doesn’t know who to trust anymore; he believes that the Ghorman Enclave is too neutral, and the Ghorman Front is ineffective and compromised. That’s why he has to reach out to someone completely new. The grass is always greener on the other side, after all.
Entering the planet as his daytime alias; one of the top fashion designers of Ghorman, he had a transport arranged directly to the Grandmaster’s choice of location.
A public appearance, especially in the Jedi Temple could cause attract unnecessary attention; the general public might not be aware that he is also an Enclave-leading Jedi, but people with enough intel would know.
