- Very High Kinetics: The Council Guardian Armor uses a combination of Kinesium and a Gel layer to provide above average defense against Kinetic Attacks
- High Blaster: The natural properties of Kinesium, augmented with an Armorweave bodyglove, allow for higher than average blaster defense
- Vacuum rated: The suits allow the wearer to survive the vacuum of space for a short time.
- Lightsabers: As with all Kinesium Items, extended contact with a lightsaber blade will melt the plates.
- Formal: The armor is designed for form first, function second. Due to the number of loose fabrics used in its construction, it is difficult to fight in if not trained properly.
- Designed for Miraluka: The helmet has no HUD, or visual aspects of any kind, designed to be worn by a Miralukan.
The armor of the Vylmiran High Council Guardians was revamped after the discovery of Kinesium, moving from their traditional robes to a full suit of metal armor. The Guardians utilize a set of nine suits, all identical, save for a set of runes along the left collarbone, identifying the guardian wearing the suit. The capes, a symbol of the guardian's service, is intentionally tattered and frayed at the hem, to signify their willingness to fight on the fronts of war, and to be active in their defense of Vylmira and her High Councilor.
Granted to the Guardians in a ceremony called The Tattering, the capes are already in the possession of the Guardians when they are appointed to High Guardian. As such, they are simply attached to the guardian's armor, the vow already being made. The armor is designed to offer defense against the three main conventional types of weaponry, while also offering an imposing image for the person wearing it.
