Strengths:
- Vykter is physically very strong, built much like an olympian with very broad shoulders.
- Vykter has a quick mind and a wit to match. Whether or not he uses one before the other in the proper order is up for debate.
- Vykter is is particularly gifted with spatial awareness, making him an excellent pilot and close combatant.

- Though Vykter cannot be considered clumsy, his size can make him a liability in certain narrow passages.
- As previously stated Vykter's mouth is often tactless, used in haste and without forethought.

- Vykter is very stubborn and often finds it difficult to see new perspectives, especially those of people he doesn't care for or he perceives as threats to himself or those he is close to.
Appearance:
Very strongly built, with broad shoulders but an average height. He almost appears to be a walking stone pillar. He has soft features that he keeps covered with a finely trimmed and maintained beard (which he cares for immensely!) and closely buzzed hair. Both of his arms bear tattoos. On his left bicep he carries a tribal marking of his homeworld Norda, and his left forearm bears runic inscription from his homeworld though he does not mention it and rarely does he speak of it. His right bicep is adorned with a long flowing script of names that he also rarely speaks of. Note: He's not hostile when asked about his tattoos. He usually just responds with some form of hastily formulated apology and drops the subject.
Biography:
Vykter was born on a rather inhospitable, snowy planet called Norda. Spring was most often far off, the planet itself having a particularly nasty elliptical orbit around a dim orange star. His childhood was one filled with loss. Though his people had inhabited Norda for close to 15,000 standard years, she was not kind to her adoptive children. The average life expectancy was only 45 to 55 SY due to the harshness of the cold and numerous terrestrial threats such as floods (The planet's closest point to its star is near enough that for nearly a month temperatures can exceed 40 degrees Celsius after noon, rapidly melting the massive glaciers that cover the planet) and numerous carnivorous creatures.
At his people's age of adulthood, 14 SY, he used what money he had after his father's death to book passage on a tramp freighter named Emerald Horizon and ended up working for the ship's captain, an aging Mando ramikade named Karrik Orade. Realizing the boy's strength could make for an excellent enforcer, Karrik trained him in many self defense and close combat techniques as they traveled the galaxy together. Vykter came to be very close to Karrik, seeing him as a father figure as he made his way through the strange places of the galaxy.
After eight years spent wandering the galaxy taking whatever jobs payed enough to warrant the detour, Vykter and Karrik finally came up against a job that cost them more than it payed. During a high profile mission with the greater Ori'ramikade army of Mandalore, Karrik was cut down in front of him. As he lay dying, his mentor spoke the Mando'a words Ni kar'tayl gai sa'ad, the formal Mandalorian vow of adoption, bequeathing all of his worldly possessions to Vykter. His ship, his wealth, his land, his ship and even his armor now all belonged to Vykter. Though this made him Mandalorian in all but blood, Karrik knew he had no place among the glory seeking men and women of that honor bound people and set out from that place as soon as he knew his job was completed.
Now Vykter spends his time wandering the galaxy, taking odd enforcement jobs but never anything too illegal. Karrik had always taught him that illegal jobs paid a lot more, but at the flip of a coin YOU paid a lot more when it went south. Funny how he hadn't followed his own advice too often. Though he has spent his adult life in the "wide world", he does not know much beyond the few things Karrik had taught him. He knows little of current events, and knows even fewer people beyond the less than savory contacts he inherited from his deceased adoptive father. Bouncing from port to port and completing jobs that paid just enough to get him by for a few days of drinking lasted him for a spell, but the galaxy was no place for a lone warrior without friends...
Ship:
The Emerald Horizon doesn't look like much at first glance, and truth be told she really isn't much.
(Her design is a hat-tip to older Corellian YT series transports. Think of the Falcon with the bridge pod mounted on top of the ship. The size would be about twice that of the Falcon. She's longer, wider and would have a lot more internal space, more accurately fitting the definition of freighter than the Falcon did.)
An old and slightly used Corellian FT series freighter, measuring in at 70 meters long, 55 meters wide, and almost 20 meters deep. Most of the ships internal volume is eaten up by monstrously large aftermarket engines and their equally large power plants that give the ship a moderate sublight speed. Her armament, though notably heavier than a traditional freighter, is merely 3 quad laser cannons, a single concussion missile launcher and a single under-powered turbolaser on a spinal mount. Defensively, she has military grade shielding, taking up even more internal volume, and employs a rather sensitive and highly illegal military ECM suite.
