Strengths:
- Highly Mobile: The VT-Grav Armor was made for one thing and one thing alone, mobility. Unlike many other armors this one was designed to create less weight, and compensate for the weight that it already had. Equipped with both a Grav-Pack as well as Jet boots infantry soldiers wearing this armor are capable of moving around at a much faster pace than regular troopers. The armor is also capable of advanced maneuvering within combat, and well trained soldiers are able to utilize the armors systems in order to avoid and weave around their foes.
- Energy Pack: The systems of the VT-Grav Armor of course require quite a bit of power. This is supplied through an energy cell contained within the pack of the Grav Armor itself. Though designed specifically to protect the energy cell, the pack can still be damaged. Once this occurs the pack can go critical and explode, though there is an eject feature that allows the wearer to escape this explosion. Once the pack is gone however the armor loses it's use of both the Grav-Pack and Jet Boots.
- Under Arm Weakpoint: Due to the way the armor is built and it's energy pack, there is a glaring open weakpoint within the Asheran Armorweave covering of the body suit. This weakpoint is located directly beneath the arm. Unfortunately, even a simple vibro-knife could penetrate this point in the armor.

Most of the developments of this department have actually been simply taking common technologies and applying them in new and exciting ways that have either been underutilized or simply not at all. The VT-Grav Armor is no different.
The armor design itself is rather simplistic and even quite standard. Consisting of a simple bodysuit covered in Asheran Armorweave plates and interwoven with Fiberplast the armor itself is neither anything of note nor something to scoff at. The rest of the armor follows this pattern, equipped with Standard Vanir Technologies fittings such as the VT-Grav Glove and various other small devices. This armors more unique aspects comes in its main design feature.
Mobility was the key to the development of this armor.
The Flaw of many armor systems, even standard infantry armor, is its inhibiting features. Armored troopers are often slow and lack mobility within the battlefield. This is a simple fact, and although rocket troopers and more elegant solutions already exist, an armor has never truly been designed to function more naturally with such systems. Even Mandalorians, famed for their use of jetpacks, have never designed an armor around mobility itself.
Thus the VT-Grav Armor game into being.
The very nature of the armor itself, the sleeker design, the helmet system, the minutia of control, everything down to the toe slots of this armor were designed to allow for maximum mobility and movement. When wearing this armor a Trooper is capable of moving on the battlefield as though they had been born with wings, the grav-pack working in conjunction with jet boots to allow for maximum efficiency and movement. Though learning to use this armor takes a bit of time, the end result is well worth it as it allows for far more mobile and agile troops in the field.
