Vritra is an archfiend of Gehenna, a world apart from that known by Humans. She has a pleasant disposition unless offended, and enjoys tempting others into her service with offers of wish fulfillment or an infusion of power. What she truly wants may forever remain a mystery, but Vritra enjoys ruling over lesser lifeforms, and using them as she sees fits; which doesn't bode well for those that refuse her 'generous' terms of servitude. Then again, Vritra doesn't like when people give in easily either.
Regions bathed in dark energy might attract her notice; uninhabited regions often settled by viscous and voracious beasts. Vritra calls them sanctuaries for her pets. Places for them to roam without interference. To grow. When ready, and as needed, to then be unleashed on others for whatever purpose suits her fancy. Poaching what is hers is certain to draw her attention.
