Vree has pale white skin with a few minor scars from her training around her body and face. Before Vree wore the traditional armor and weaponry of the Yuuzhan Vong warrior case, but now, as a slave, she wears rags and dirty clothing. She still wears Vong jewelry mainly on her ears. Unlike most others of her species Vree does not have many biological implants, only the one in her eyes that causes them to change colors while allowing her to see in the dark. Has strongly built body for a female.
BIO:
Like any true warrior of the Yuuzhan Vong society, Vree was bread to be a fighter and a killer. After her parents had given a name to this new member of the Choka Domain she was taken by the caretakers to be bred in the art of war and give worship to the god Yun-Yammka.
Unlike most of her kin, however, Vree had not undergone many biological implants to strengthen herself. She, like a handful of others in the warrior caste, believed that the better way to honor Yun-Yammka was to not rely too heavily on implants to make oneself stronger; given that not many stories depicted the war god to use anything other than natural Vong weapons. Only two were given to her, that being fighting claws for combat and the eye implant of Mqaaq’it that allowed her to see in the dark. The former was for whenever she would face an enemy that tried to use shadows to their advantage; something she considered a cowardly tactic.
In time Vree had risen in strength and had finally met her parents. Or at least her mother, only after learning her father was granted the honor of death in battle. Her mother was proud of the warrior she was becoming and hoped that she would either gain the same respect as her father or continue to fight and spread the word and power of the True Way.
Within her caste Vree became a sub-commander and lead her troops into battle. They only operated in smaller strikes for the time being at the behest of her higher commander. Vree had felt these smaller attacks were only tests for when she would be finally promoted and, hopefully, eventually reach the rank of Warmaster. During a battle against the Republic Vree had, unfortunately, tried to prove herself too soon.
Taking her troops away from where she was commanded Vree had brought them into what they thought was an enemy base. In truth it was only a small encampment which they attacked regardless. In the ensuing fight the Republic forces had called for reinforcements that attacked with an aerial strike. Vree’s forces were wiped out after the group troops fled, the Vong thinking it was a victory.
When it was over Vree was shocked to find that she was the only survivor. Her whole force was dead, given the honor of death in battle, and she was the only one to survive. This was her fault. She had lead them to this against the command of her superiors, and the gods punished her by making her into the lowest of the Vong society: a Shamed One. This had broken her spirit and made Vree realize that she could not return to her people as she was.
In time scavengers had come to the battlefield to find whatever valuable pieces of equipment and tech were still intact. They were, of course, surprised to find a living Vong just sitting there and not trying to kill them or the like. Seeing the state she was in made it easy for them to entrap her before hoarding her around. Eventually they had sold Vree off as a trophy to a crime lord who kept her in a cage and showed her off to any of interest.
All the while Vree had never made any indication she would resist, even when they constantly touched and prodded at her. She barley ate, only what she needed to survive. She never even spoke, especially because she did not understand the alien language they spoke; only knowing her own species’ tongue. What was most notable was how her eyes were now a constant shade of pale blue, a symbol of her emotional state due to her implants. She only continued to look so sad and broken, no true purpose in the galaxy.
Until someone came to prove otherwise…

Well, yeah, I read the whole thing about her lacking that weird Star Trek-ish translator implant.

*watches as she just continues staring and making dots*
