Voli was surprised to see that the retreat once belonging to Emperor Palpatine still existed. One would think that the inhabitants of Naboo would erase any memory of the ancient Emperor. The things he did from orchestrating the Clone Wars, to starting the Great Jedi Purge, and dominated the Galaxy through fear and intimidation even destroying Alderaan using the Death Star. Yet instead of destroying anything relating to Palpatine, the people of Naboo chose to keep monuments relating to Palpatine. They claimed it was so they can never forget that despite Naboo's dedication to peace and prosperity, evil can slumber amongst hearts of men and women alike. For every Padme Amidala, there was at least one Palpatine ready to strike.

Still Voli wondered was Palpatine born evil? Or was he led down a path to evil? "Probably both," Voli thought as she strolled through the building. "Heard Palps was a piece of work as a kid. A real sociopath in the making."

Voli decided to explore the Retreat mainly out of boredom but also to see if there's any remnants of dark side memorabilia. As she gotten better at Force sense, she could root out any Force anomaly. "All of the quest of knowledge," Voli thought looking around. "It's about time Naboo finally got interesting."

What brought the young teen to Naboo was more mystery than anything. He was definitely finding his way across the universe due to the grant by Dashiell Corporation. He owed a lot to Persephone Dashiell and Makai, he was afforded more opportunities than he could have ever thought possible. He was learning quite a bit and as that came into play he started to branch out more. It was quite scary and his only friend, well friend to him anyway was Persephone. They had traded contact information and he tried to be in constant communication with her as possible.

Probably to her annoyance.

So he opted to send her a message.

Hey jerkface! Haha, I'm only playing. Hopefully this message finds you well. I'm on Naboo for a visit, I figured I'd let you know in case you thought I ran away or something. Makai afforded me a few days of leave so I decided to come here. I'll keep a ear open for any word of artifacts or history stuff while I'm here.

Perhaps he should've been paying more attention instead of looking down at the screen as he sent her a message because he ran right into someone and almost knocked her over.

"I am so incredibly sorry about that." Kiran reached down to pick up something that had fallen out of her hand. "Here you go, sorry about that again." Kiran cleared his throat and started to fumble through his introduction just out of habit. "I-I'm Kiran, who might you be?"

For what felt like the hundredth time on Naboo, Voli body collided with a person. Voli yelped nearly losing her balance process, but she quickly summoned the Force to regain her balance. "Way to go Voli," she thought her pale face turning into a cherry beet red. "Your lack of focus has once again caused you to bump into a person. If Master Dreidi Xeraic were here she'll be giving me a three hour lecture on my lack focus will end up killing me. That and more meditation exercises."

Mediation exercises..... As calming as they were, Voli didn't understand how just going into a deeper state of consciousness while shutting out all outside interference would increase one's focus. If anything, it's counterproductive, what's to stop a person from hitting a mediating Jedi upside their head and taking their stuff?

"Sorry!" Voli said in a hasty tone. "My mind was wondering off again! I didn't think people would even go to this place given who lived here."

Voli could feel some low level Dark Side energies though it was faint. She'll need to explore further to find the source. "So......" Voli smiled. "What's your name? The Force is strong with you. Are you a Jedi? Padawan?"

"My mind was wondering off again! I didn't think people would even go to this place given who lived here."

"No, it's completely my fault." Kiran said with a short smile and small nod as he helped her up.

"So......"

"What's your name? The Force is strong with you. Are you a Jedi? Padawan?"

"Oh yea, sorry." Kiran extended his hand towards her. "My name is Kiran. I'm not a Padawan, I know with proper training I can utilize the force." The young man said small smile and a honest answer. "Truth be told I'm not sure if I even want training." There were reasons behind that, but he wasn't going to get into them with someone he just met.

"Are you a Jedi?"
