GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Group Name: The Gluttonous Coven
  • Classification: Guild/Covenant
  • Headquarters: Den of Decadence (Space Station)
  • Loyalties: @Darth Voracitos, and The Sith Empire (including the Dark Lord of the Sith, [member="Darth Carnifex"])
  • Group Sigil:
flat,800x800,070,f.u1.jpg
  • Description: The Coven of Gluttony worships above all the pursuit of all things desired, the absorption of power in much the same way the natural body absorbs power from the food that it eats. With Darth Voracitos as a living model of the power that can be achieved through Gluttony, the Coven serves to worship the most Gluttonous among them, in the hopes of stealing "His table scraps", to be imbued with the power to some day match his voracious hungered desires. Yet at the same time, they ensure their terrible master never hungers, least they all suffer the wrath of his hunger. Many Sith Followers in the group follow a modified Sith Code to account for their dedication to the Gluttony.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: Within the Coven, @Darth Voracitos is the Lord above all, yet ouside of the Coven fealty ultimately falls under the Sith Empire's Brotherhood of the Sith, and its Dark Lord of the Sith [member="Darth Carnifex"]. Beneath Darth Voracitos are the Hungered Vassals, who orchestrate the major operations of the Coven's underlings, the Starved Subjects.
  • Membership: To become a member, they need only swear fealty to the Coven and its Master (or become indoctrinated into through slavery), and the Sith Empire. One must also be sponsored by a Hungered Vassal, who will then be allowed to feed upon the new initiate to the cusp of breaking via either Force Drain (for Force Sensitive) or ritual blood-letting, to become a Starved Subject. A Starved Subject will ascend to a Hungered Vassal once they have recruited their own Subjects, and are given permission by their Hungered Vassal to feed upon them. A Starved Subject may bring many Subjects to be indoctrinated before a Hungered Vassal may consider their ascension... however, a Starved Subject if ever strong enough, may find another way, by feeding upon a Hungered Vassal and "Starving" them so that they are superior to their former sponsor. In which case, Lord of Gluttony Darth Voracitos would feed from them. In essence, the Coven is designed of a pyramid structure of "Dog eat Dog"... literally, except those within the Coven rarely feed so much as to kill a member. Unless that member happens to be Darth Voracitos, who kills while feeding frequently.
  • Dogma/Doctrines: The Doctrine of the Coven is based heavily upon a pyramidal power structure, where the one that devours the greatest, shall have vassals who replenish their loss by devouring many smaller subjects, who recruit more victims into the Coven either by promises of future strength and learning, or through direct slavery. Either way, it is a staunch belief that any who enter the Coven, may never leave. Fealty to their proper masters is paramount, and any who defy will find themselves in a life of pain, suffering, and constant dying. The pyramid of fealty is as follows -
The Starved Subjects swear fealty to the Coven and the Hungered Vassals, who feed upon them, or drink their blood.
  • The Hungered Vassals swear fealty to the Coven and their Masters, the Sith Empire, and Darth Voracitos, who feeds upon them and drinks their blood.
  • The Lord of Gluttony (Darth Voracitos) swears by his Coven's fealty to the Empire, but swears fealty to no one but himself. He feeds upon the Hungered Vassals and those who displease him, and drinks their blood if they are one with the Coven.

[*]Members who adhere to the Sith Code often adopt a modified version to reconcile themselves into the Coven. The modified code is as follows -
  • Peace is a lie, there is only Hunger
  • Through Hunger, I gain Desire
  • Through Desire, I gain Want
  • Through Want, I gain Gluttony
  • Through Gluttony my girth shall Devour
  • The Force shall be my feast

[*]Curios: All who are members shall be branded with a blood tattoo, which link their life force to those who swear their fealty to, so a Starved Subject to a Hungered Vassal, and a Hunger Vassal to Lord Voracitos himself.
[*]Goals: The Original mission of the Coven, was to seek out the various individuals in the galaxy who had become intrinsically linked to Darth Voracitos during his imprisonment in the Aslyum of Gluttony. So much so, that they became a vulnerability to the Dark Lord. This of course, was after the Dark Lord himself had entered the Netherworld a third time in search of an emptiness within him. Returning unfulfilled, the Lord of Gluttony came riding upon a wave of souls he had harvested from the Netherworld and feasted upon more powerful than ever. With this power, he promised Sith Acolytes and Knights alike with the power of Souls and "Nethermancy", branding them with "Symbols of Power"... in fact, the insidious Sith Master had in fact bound the souls he had collected to his newest Vassals, in effect twisting their spiritual insides to souls effectively bound to Voracitos, indenturing them to his will. The Hungered Vassals are sworn to secrecy of this fact, and while some attempt to defy the will of their master by collecting more Starved Subjects with the hope of becoming the Lord of Gluttony, they serve only to make the Dark Lord's Coven stronger. Officially, the coven still seeks out the individuals bound to Lord Voracitos, but they also seek to collect items of power, feast upon the living (and ghosts), and also party when celebration is warranted with a great amount of alcohol and debauchery. The Coven is also, of course, concerned with the development of wealth, as basic avarice is very closely related to Gluttony.

@Darth Voracitos - Lord of Gluttony

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Coven of Gluttony is nothing short of a cult dedicated the Master of Gluttony himself, Darth Voracitos, a former Sith Emperor of immeasurable size, equally large ego, and power. To date, the Dark Lord has experienced a total of three death-like states, all issuing forth a traversal through the Netherworld of the Force, and each time the Sith Lord has returned more ravenous. After engaging in efforts of reclamation of his old holdings on Lorrd and much of his old Empire, the Sith Lord suddenly found himself called to the farthest reach of his mind... of the force. Voracitos found himself drawn to depth of Hell within the Netherworld, in search of something not even he did not know. In frustration and with a feeling of emptiness, the Sith Lord feasted upon what appears to be thousands of misbegotten souls in the Netherworld, and ripped himself back into galactic reality, festering with hatred and all-consuming desires.

With a great number of attachments across the galaxy weighing upon the corpulent Lord's mind, Darth Voracitos utilized his new found knowledge and abilities to gain new servants.... strong, and powerful servants. Through an initially slow process, the withering Dark Lord was able to feed upon these individuals until their very souls were intertwined within the tapestry the Shadow Emperor had created, forcing their cooperation and secrecy. The new Lord of the Coven sent forth his new Hungered Vassals into the dark, who sought and collected potentials within the Sith Empire, and subjected them to his rituals through promises, trickery... and occasionally force.

The Coven grows larger within the Sith Empire, expanding their number of cells and members, serving the Empire and the Coven simultaneously with discovered knowledge and items of power, as well as investing into lucrative operations to net both the Coven (and its master) as well as the Empire a fair profit. While many question the Coven of its loyalty, Voracitos vehemently denies that the Coven's interests are misaligned with the Empire's, and has proven sufficiently that no betrayal is planned so long as the Empire prospers, which the Coven seeks to ensure.

Even with their increasingly rapid expansion, the Coven remains small and insignificant within the Sith Empire, proving their worth only through monetary acquisition and the possession of powerful items found no where else. All organizations within the Empire have their place, and the Coven is quickly filling in its own role.

  • Shuttle Tram from Ship surface to central Throne Room, capable of launching a personal shuttle docked into the Throne Room directly. Ray shielded when not in use.
  • Meditation rooms connected directly to the Throne Room.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Molecular Furnace - Despite its bad reputation as a main component to a superweapon like the World Devastator, the Molecular Furnace's inside of the Girth of Gluttony are far more benign. Through the use of robotic tethers and careful use of its 300 tractor beams, the Girth of Gluttony is capable rebuilding damaged or destroyed starfighters at a molecular level. It may even use raw material salvage, to reconstruct replacement parts for any part of the Girth of Gluttony. Beyond this however, it is unable to do much more than simply recycle old material and refine new raw materials to ensure the autonomy and self-dependence of the vessel for as long as the molecular furnace burns.
Strengths:
  • Dedicated Super Carrier - There are few ships in the galaxy that can field quite as many starfighters as the Girth of Gluttony, and with almost certainty, none of them are capable of recovering and repairing them in a matter of hours as the Girth of Gluttony can.
  • Double Redundant, Double Envelope - With two sets of shields set 1 kilometer apart, the Girth of Gluttony is well protected from long range attack, and can provide cover for smaller ships very near to it (such as droid starfighters). Additionally, its sports a backup shield generator if both primary and secondary shields fail, and is well protected by meters of a Quadranium Steel Hull.
  • Autonomous and Self-Sufficiently Independent - With no crew requirements to speak of operating off of a single droid brain, the Girth of Gluttony can operate totally independent without user input. Additionally, with its ability to conduct self-repairs, the Girth of Gluttony has an unpredictably long operational lifetime without the need to be birthed at a starport... virtually ever.
Weaknesses:
  • Complete and Total Reliance on Starfighter Superiority - With literally no armaments, the Girth of Gluttony essentially lives or dies depending on its ability to field more starfighters than the enemy, and repair them faster than they can be destroyed before overwhelming the enemy. If the Girth of Gluttony is faced against an enemy fielding a starfighter force that can destroy its starfighters faster than they can be rebuilt, and faster than the Girth of Gluttony can destroy the enemy capital ships, the Girth of Gluttony must surrender or retreat without additional support.
  • Lumbering Target - Although it fields an impressive and almost daunting defensive network... ultimately this is because it has sacrificed everything for hangar and cargo space. It moves very slowly, maneuvers very slowly (does a sphere even need to maneuver?), and is a giant freakin' 2 km diameter spherical target! It will be harder to miss this ship than to hit it, even a stormtrooper could do it!
  • Droid Intelligence - It is true that the ship is an autonomous and self-sufficient independent entity, but that doesn't make it an intelligent one. The centralized intelligence of the Girth of Gluttony is based off of a Holocron gatekeeper designed after Darth Voracitos, and its only real prime directives are to ensure the ship maintains full functionality, and overwhelm threats with overwhelming numbers until they are no longer a threat, or until its time to jump away into hyperspace. To say that the Girth of Gluttony's droid brain wasn't sophisticated, is a bit of an understatement. The droid intelligence in its star-fighters is likely more intelligent by contrast.
Description: The Girth of Gluttony was constructed under the idea that an entire fleet could be condensed into a single, self-sufficient, autonomous, and enormous vessel. Commissioned by the "Shadow Emperor" Darth Voracitos in the days of the Sith Empire (Pre-One Sith), the Girth of Gluttony was to be his ultimate construction, the magnum opus of his wealth and power. It was never fully constructed due to his untimely death, but the resultant creation was nonetheless a formidable vessel that was unlikely to be matched by any Star Destroyer of that era in time. Additionally, this vessel was constructed with the intent of it being operated by his own very soul should he ever be untimely disposed of... as he inevitably was, his paranoia over his own death becoming the very downfall that lead to it.

Completely automated, it was envisioned to be its own fleet, at which the Emperor may observe its destructive power without harm safely in its very center. It holds a massive storage of droid starfighters, and probes comparable to the size of a fleet as a whole. Completely unarmed, it is most likely the most defensive device ever built of that era. It boasts a powerful shield system, and its only armaments composed of hundreds of tractor beams. It contains the life support of a ridiculously smaller vessel, as it only supports the comparably small Throne Room. It holds few other rooms, no hallways of passageways beyond the Throne Room. The entrance to the Throne Room itself is only accessible by a small hangar large enough to fit a single personal transport vehicle, connected directly to the Throne room, and leading to a tram that is the only way inside or outside the gigantic orb.

One of its more unique features beyond its iconic shape, and impressive shield network, was its utilization of Molecular Furnaces. These furnaces in the cargo holds of the Girth of Gluttony, would utilize robotic tethers and the use of tractor beams to pull broken or destroyed starfighters (or raw materials) and reforge them into useful materials down to the molecular level, and manufacturing new starfighters or replacement parts directly in the Cargo holds. This was the key to making the vessel self-sufficient and independent of the need to ever dock, virtually ever, in its operational life time.

For a time, the vessel also acted as something like a factory for the Mandalorian [member="Captain Larraq"] and his company, as he had managed to take ownership of the vessel following the blunders of his spirit facsimile that ended upon taking control of the Holocron that served as the droid brain of the Girth of Gluttony. The Mandalorian utilized its molecular furnaces for a variety of purpase, before eventually Darth Voracitos proper and in the flesh, managed to retrieve the Girth of Gluttony back from the Mandalorian.

The vessel, once gain under Voracitos' ownership, was often sent to wander the galaxy whenever he was absent, and to return whenever his force signature called out to his Holocron, which possessed nine comatose Shards he had bonded his spirit to for this express purpose. Occasionally, the Sith Lord will actually utilize the vessel, though more often than not, Voracitos will find himself disappointing in the vessel, in the fact it was never completed to its full glory, and failed to meet many of his expectations...

[*]Hyperdrive Class: N/a
STANDARD FEATURES
  • Quadranium Armor
  • Droid brain
  • Navigation system
  • Targeting systems
  • Seeker Mine friendly transponder code
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Composite-Beam Laser - Although the frame of the ship's bomber variant is rather small for an ordinary starfighter, it holds enough vertices to hold a weapon of magnificent power. Unfortunately, such a weapon has a rather large power draw, and without a hyperdrive to draw from, the next largest source of energy is the ships deflector shields. Thus when it fires, this is when the bomber's shields are at its most vulnerable, or otherwise absent while it fires. This is another reason why the bomber variant almost requires an escort, as it would not survive long enough to do substantial damage without it due to this drawback in design.
  • Light Ion Point-Defense Cannon - The Defense Platform almost looks hilarious silly, as an almost literal floating cannon. It was no small matter of design engineering to reduce the size of the cannon and to likewise mount it to a mobile powersource strong enough for a single cannon. Once this was accomplished however, the small heavily defended platforms would act almost in substitution for armament on the Girth of Gluttony, the vessel it was primarily designed for.
Strengths:
  • Highly Modular - Each ship is essentially the same as the Interceptor, except with extra ship attached to it by the Girth of Gluttony, or whatever hangar is equipped to modify the DAS Starfighter. It can serve a variety of roles in a relatively short period of time, starting as an interceptor with a single laser canon and concussion missile launcher, serve most of the battle as a Defense Platform, and finish the battle as a bomber.
  • Exceptional Interceptor - With speed and maneuverability, there will be few starfighters in the galaxy that can evade its sight, and with a swarm, many ships will be hard pressed to defend against them.
  • Powerful Bomber - With a Composite-Beam Laser, the bomber variant of the DAS Starfighter is a formidable opponent against cruisers, and well defended from retaliation from starfighters and larger ships alike.
  • Powerful Defense Platform - Point-Defense Cannons are not typically seen on vessels as small as a Starfighter, and it barely fits in this platform that has been stripped of all engines and hyperdrive, it makes for a formidable deterrent to enemy starfighters entering within range. This coupled with Seeker Mine launchers, creates a defensive aura ill-advised to cross.
Weaknesses:
  • Weak Interceptor - Despite its envious speed and maneuverability, this interceptor is remarkably easy to destroy once hit, fielding very little protection. Additionally, its armament is almost more of a nuisance than a threat to most ships.
  • Slow Bomber - While it may field impressive defenses and countermeasures, this is to compensate for the bombers dreadful speed and maneuverability. Without a protective escort, this bomber may as well be bait for starfighters and larger vessels.
  • Immobile Defense Platform - Set in orbit around the Girth of Gluttony or whatever station it is intended to protect, it follows a set trajectory with little variation, making it much easier to target from a distance, even with its sensor scramblers, and countermeasures.
  • No Hyperdrive - If the host ship of the DAS Starfighter ever needs to retreat, all ships deployed will immediately be left for dead, as there is no way for any of the ships to jump to Hyperspace. Additionally, it is a strictly space-borne craft, and is unable to enter atmosphere.
  • Seeker Mine Bypass - The mines deployed by the Defense Platform configuration are a special variety that target and move towards ships that enter within a targeting radius. However, since so many friendly ships would be operating around these mines, the DAS Starfighters were outfitted with "Friendly" Transponder Codes to exclude them from the mine's targetting parameters. However, since these codes are not overly secure, it would be conceivable for a starfighter pilot to receive this codes, and transmit them the same DAS Starfighters, thus rendering the Seeker Mines inert and useless against them.
Description: The Girth of Gluttony was at its core, more of an experiment than it was a true warship. It was the dream of a paranoid Emperor who wanted a sanctuary that could last on its own forever, and overwhelm any threat to him with a surprisingly volatile and unpredictable force to gain the upper hand. If you didn't know what your enemy could field, it became more difficult to counter it, and that was the strategy in the design of the Droid Adaptive Swarm Starfighter.

With multiple form-factors with vastly different roles, and a ship that could change them relatively quickly on the fly, one became unlikely to see the same fleet composition twice, and what worked once to counter it may not counter it a second time. With multiple chassis that could be added on top of old ones, or easily removed, the DAS Starfighter is the ultimate proprietary starship, allowing a fleet full of them to change and adapt on the fly as the needs of a battle changes.

If the enemy is fielding formidable capital ships with little starfighter compliment, there will be many more bombers than is typical with fewer escorts. If the enemy fields a great deal of starfighters or powerful starfighter squadrons, more starfighters, interceptors, and defense platforms will be present. Perhaps the enemy started out with a healthy compliment of starfighters, which dwindled as time went on, allowing the bulk of the DAS Starfighter forces to take the opportunity to risk more bombers to take out the bigger fish. Or perhaps the host ship, such as the Girth of Gluttony, is looking to retreat from a battle but is not yet ready to withdraw, it could "hunker down" with a great number of Defense Platforms and hopefully mitigate any daring pilots from approaching for risk of overwhelming destruction.

The changes of course, despite their easier modularity, still take some amount of time, which may take longer if a starfighter docks with considerable damage. Such damage may penetrate through multiple chassis types, and would be forced scrap nearly all of them before applying a new desired chassis type. Since this is subject to time, not all starfighters can be deployed at once all of the time, and their numbers may be reduced due to a need for repairs or chassis changes, or by casualties that could not make it back to a hangar. The loss of casualties is slightly mitigate by the Girth of Gluttony's large host of Tractor Beams dragging debris into its cargo holds for molecular processing, but on any other vessel without similar support it may struggle to field a full compliment for long.

The DAS Starfighters are more known more colloquially as "Spores", considering their appearance flooding out of the Girth of Gluttony's spherical hull and spreading out around it like a web of stellar mycellium.

Author's Notes:
  • This is not exactly a new ship. This submission is intended to be an update to the original submission found here: starwarsrp.net/topic/18616-spore-class-droid-starfighter/. I've kept to the spirit of the submission, but I have taken some liberty to make changes to this I did not like about the original, and added some unique changes that make the design a little more useful.
  • I've added some pretty unique and likely unprecedented features to this modular starfighter, so I understand completely if work needs to be done to acquire them, though I do think this is fairly balanced on its own.

  • Quadruple-redundant artificial gravity and inertial compensator technology
  • Substantial dirt and water
  • Climate options
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Massive Hyperdrive Unit - The engineering that went into creating a hyperdrive super-cluster coordinated enough to send a station of this size through hyperspace was staggering. With the World - Voracitos already utilizing such massive energies for its primary defenses (the shield generators), it comes with little doubt that the power generation required to send the station through hyperspace so quickly, takes an equally staggering 2/3rds of total system power from the entire station. Wherever the World - Voracitos sets itself to go, it will get there and in a mad hurry, but it will suffer from total planetary shield loss (other than relativistic shielding), weapon loss, and may suffer slight artificial gravity anomalies, though engineering has kept it within an "acceptable" safety margin for anything living on the planet. Suffice to say, despite it being capable of going to such ludicrous speeds, it won't be doing so often, at its own expense.
  • Core Hangar - The pinnacle of the entire Worldcraft, the Core Hangar represents the ability to house and transport entire fleets at once, all the while keeping them fueled, powered, and repaired. This is done through massive fuel reserves, and transporting millions of tons of material for years of repair work. The work force in charge of ensuring all such repairs goes well, are of course loyal citizens of the Empire indentured to Darth Voracitos, who was kind enough to give them meaningful work to repay their debts to himself, and the Empire. They all live in thousands of inbuilt homes across the circumference of the hangar, making their commute to work instantaneous.

Strengths:
  • A World all his Own - Voracitos spared no expenses in commissioning his own personal worldcraft, it is as realistic as they come with staggering proportions in comparison to his now dwarfed long time residence on the Girth of Gluttony. The entire "planets" environment is catered to his direct enjoyment and control, filled with beaches and calming forests filled with exotic pets and numerous fields of livestock and farmland to keep his corporeal appetite satiated. Thousands of servants populate the world, and could some day grow to truly staggering heights given enough time. It is the epitome of Voracitos' every desire being fulfilled on a world all his own.
  • Planetary Defense - Just as Voracitos spared no expense in creating a world, he similarly spared no expense in ensuring its survival. At every cardinal angel of attack, there is at least one Planetary Ion Cannon protecting its hemisphere. It additionally hosts a number of planetary scaled shield generators to ensure the absolute best defense against an invading force.
  • The Core Hangar - Voracitos is one Sith Lord infamously known beyond his stature, as one who holds many possessions, and this includes all of his various Starships by extension. From his original Charon-Class Star Destroyer The Corpulence, to his own Girth of Gluttony, to the gifted Dar Itah Hammer of Bastion granted to him by Darth Prezutis on behalf of the Emperor (his uncle) and the Zambrano Family, Voracitos has no shorted of rather large vessels, with more ever on the way. As such, it was a pivotal point of construction for the Sith Lord to have a place to store all of them at once. The 10 kilometer diameter 40 kilometer deep hole in the structure allows for this purpose to exist.
  • With Haste, Exit - Seeming as the entire planetoid does not have any engine systems to speak of in order to avoid hostile starships, the station instead relies on a series of extremely powerful hyperdrive units, built to rival the fastest hyperdrive units in the entire galaxy. The need to enter hyperspace at all however, means that its use would be in the utmost urgency, as the planetoid is of course not a military structure and intended only to store vast treasures and displays of wealth. While it does have the capability to hold a great number of military ships, the ships stowed there will find it difficult to exit orderly and quickly enough to have any impact on a hostile invading force... additionally, some of these ships will have no crews aboard at all (either due to repairs of Voracitos having no need to crew it while he vacations there), exasperating the problem further, necessitating the need for a fast and capable hyperdrive.
Weaknesses:
  • Immobile - The planetoid, does not in any capacity have the ability to move in any meaningful way in real space. This means if it were ever to need to use its hyperdrive, it would be very difficult for it to achieve a stable orbit in a new system.
  • Massive - There can be no greater target than something that likens itself not only as a small planet, but also after its primary occupant, Darth Voracitos. The World - Voracitos is a structure of immense proportions, and would be difficult to keep hidden and well defended given its stationary nature, something any enemy of Voracitos would exploit to bring a blow against the behemoth.
  • Power Loss - Given the nature of such a powerful hyperdrive system, approximately 2/3rds of total system power will be devoted solely to the hyperdrive system, lose all planetary shield power (minus relativistic shielding), shut down all planetary ion cannons, and additionally cause various gravitational anomalies on the surface. A Hyperspace jump, while powerful and suit the needs of the vessel to get away, is a dangerous gamble.

STANDARD FEATURES

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Beam Weapons
  • Giant Hangar
  • Magnetic Docking Mechanism
  • Ablative Armor
  • Hangar Blast doors and internal ray shielding.
Strengths:
  • Beam Weaponary - This ship comes packing serious business, capable of causing colossal damage to ships of equal size, and significant damage to ships larger than itself.
  • Assault Cruiser Carrier - This ships comes with the capability of releasing a 300 meter spherical starship from its centerfold that can further assist the course of a battle.
  • Magnetic Docking Mechanism - Considering that the SCAWS does not move on its own, it becomes necessary for it to physically attach itself to another starship, and this is assisted by a gigantic magnetic clamp that sturdily attaches itself to another ship of comparable or larger size (although it can technically be towed by a smaller vessel with significantly powerful engines and hyperdrive). This also allows the ship to move in a limited capacity by magnetically attracting itself to a larger vessel
  • Ablative Armor - The hull which protects its charged escort, is an ablative design intended to absorb, dissipate energy, and mitigate kinetic impacts through vaporization, chipping and other erosive processes. The entire ship acts as a damage shield for whatever vessel it is docked to and intended to protect.
Weaknesses:
  • Immobile - Without its own engines, and dedicating its full power to its beam weaponry and magnetic docking mechanism, the "escort" ship is a sitting duck until applied to the vessel it is escorting.
  • Vulnerable Weaponry - Although the weapons this vessel fields are impressive and powerful, they bring with it fewer points of failure. An ordinary ship with a compliment of turbolasers can stand to lose a few, but on a ship that uses these beam cannons in so few numbers at the expense of other weapons become victim to agile fighters and bombers destroying these cannons.
  • Structural Soft Point - Due to its ability to launch a craft a third of its own size from its centerfold, it presents a point in the craft that has less ablative armor than the rest of the ship, and could conceivably be penetrated sooner than the rest of the ship once it launches this secondary vessel. This is mitigated slightly by a series of hangar blast doors and internal ray shields to prevent full penetration, but it isn't as good of a "damage shield" whenever it launches this secondary craft.
Description: When Voracitos ruled the Sith Empire decades ago, there were a number of projects which he commissioned out of the treasuries pocket, the most significant of which was the Girth of Gluttony, a massive carrier of (then) epic proportions. However, as he envisioned it, it was never fully completed, as it did not include the full fleet he had envisioned the infamous "Fleet Carrier" to old. To resolve this issue so many years after his death, Voracitos has commissioned the creation of an "attachment ship" to act as ablative armor and weapons platform for a ship that lacked either of these qualities (one of which being the Girth of Gluttony itself by the time of his death).

While it was designed with the Girth of Gluttony in mind, that in no way means it is entirely limited only to that vessel. It is limited however, to Voracitos' personal assets, particularly his assets gathered by his Coven of Gluttony. As such, any ship worth protecting of adequate parameters associated with either Voracitos or the Coven, could potentially be seen with this otherwise immobile escort ship.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 54
  • Force Sensitivity: Master
  • Species: Arkanian
  • Appearance: Stark white hair, dark side corrupted eyes, a scar down the left eye, and sharpened white teeth.
SOCIAL INFORMATION

[*]Skills:
  • Force Drain, Skill (Advanced) - A side effect of his attachment to the Coven of Gluttony, Edemar Sevdend's force energy has been fed upon by his master, Lord Voracitos, thus the Hunter Avarice possesses a void in his soul that allows him to feed upon the force energy of others. His use of the power is an active one he must choose to use however, unlike the presence of Darth Voracitos, whose mere proximity often makes others lightheaded from its effects.
  • "Nethermancy", Skill (Expert) - A type of Sith Magic developed by Darth Voracitos after his expedition into the Netherworld, where along with his journey he bound innumerable tormented souls to his will, likely through a form of Force Walk. To create his Coven, he offered his Vassals a portion of the power he had consumed in the Netherworld, and thus utilized a technique similar to Invoke Spirits, to give his Vassals command over a few of the spirits he had collected, amplifying their strengths by virtue of ancient dead dark siders formerly trapped in the Netherworld. Thus, Nethermancy comes with the flexibility of making the practitioner stronger with a variety of skills inherent to the bound spirits they are borrowing. Though with no physical remains to amplify their power, and their power being diluted by virtue of the souls being borrowed by their master who they are bound to, a greater volume of souls are required to have any meaningful impact on one's mastery and command of the force. Additionally, it means these strengths are inherently tied to the will of Darth Voracitos, who can relinquish their souls on command, or immediately re-assume control of them in a variety of horrifying manners. One should beware the tempting power of Nethermancy however, as without the cure to the madness inherent in being host to multiple spirits (even if borrowed from their Master, Voracitos), the users of Nethermancy will find that their natural connection to the force shall decay as they become reliant on their power, while their bodies will decay the longer they do not use its power. This creates a powerful addiction, that will eventually strip away their ability to control their violent urges or destroy them by shunning it.

CHRONICLE INFORMATION
In detail (at least six paragraphs), please detail an unbiased and objective account of the events that transpired. Deliberately using subjective information or slandering other writers may incur a ban from the Codex. If something major happened, please link the post(s) in which it happened.

After the formation of the Sith Empire at the end of the Imperial-Warlord Conflict, in the wake of the 400 Year Darkness of the Gulag Plague, Darth Sidic had founded a tenuous alliance of Sith Lord's which brought to his table the spoils of conquest against the earliest enemies of the Empire's rise to power. Unfortunately, while Darth Sidic maintained himself as the sole member of the Dark Council, other Sith Lord's became inclined to seek out glory and power for themselves, undercutting his authority altogether. Eventually in the tumultuous period to follow, the name of Darth Sidic became lost to history, his fate unknown.

During this period, at least two Sith Lord's are known to have directly assaulted Republic space and even engaged in combat against not only the Jedi, but their Grandmaster. This level of infamy was mostly attributed to the character known as Darth Moridin, but had assistance from the enigmatic figure Darth Apparatus. The infamy would ultimate pay into his favor, as when the question of leadership came up in the Council Chambers of Korriban, only he had the sway to set forward a rather short, and formulating debate.

The crux of his argument, came with the idea of sharing power, a historically unfavorable style of leadership in Sith history but not unprecedented. Through the division of responsibility, Darth Moridin sought to unify the heavily stratified Sith Order into an imperial entity ruled by a trinity of Sith Lords of great renown and power. The keep the other Sith Lords in line and appeased, he additionally suggested the remaining masters of the order, to act as advisers to the Pillars of Strength, Power, and Knowledge.

Darth Voracitos was the first to step forward among the many Sith Lords, immediately laying claim the sphere of politicians and historians, to become the ever present Pillar of Knowledge. Disciple, another figure of pure enigma, was the second to step forward and lay claim to the sphere of alchemists and sorcerers, to become the elusive Pillar of Power. Pleased with the selection of volunteers, Darth Moridin was quick to seal the triumvirate properly, laying claim to the sphere of warriors and assassins, the mighty Pillar of Strength.

There were many who would have challenged Voracitos in particular due to his lack of repute, their misconceptions of his appearance, and his general condescending attitude to all other forms of life. Fortunately for the early years of the Empire, Voracitos would be halted from lashing out against the would-be challengers due to the authoritative charisma of Darth Moridin, and the eldritch presence of power Disciple held. Thus, straight from the authority of the Pillar of Strength, Darth Moridin was successful in his attempt to stabilize the Empire through the introduction of a smaller more capable of alliance of Sith Lords than the loose "council" that had made it up before hand.

The Triumvirate would prove to be a successful mode of government for a short period of time, but as with most alliances of its kind, it was only a matter of time before it was dissolved in favor of one of the pillars. The Triumvirate was a period of transition for the Empire, but it was a formative one that laid the foundation for the future rise of Darth Moridin into a true Sith Emperor of the Sith Empire, the imperial authority of his many successors.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Bildog
  • Designation: Non-sentient
  • Origins: Chad
  • Average Lifespan: 400-800+ years
  • Estimated Population: Planetary (A Large Concentration on a single world or system, rarely found off-world)
  • Description: Gigantic herd animals that possess a hide that act as a replenishable food resource by smaller creatures
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Water (Occasionally inhales Clouzon-36 from an ancient meteorite located at a popular breeding site)
  • Average Height of Adults: 15 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: 150 meters
  • Skin color: Brown/Grey
  • Hair color: N/a
  • Distinctions: These creatures are notable due to their ability to generate edible fleshy protrusions on their hide, where thousands of smaller species and young offspring can subsist on their flesh, which regrows at remarkable rates. It additionally provides an excellent lure for animals the Bildog consider prey. These protrusions usually grow around their mouth, forming a beard-like structure, making it easier and advantageous to eat prey too boldly approaching them to subsist off of their flesh.
  • Races: Northern Bildog, Southern Bildog (slight phenotype variations between the two, divided in the summer by the steaming equatorial regions)
  • Force Sensitivity: Low (Some members are, but many are not)
Strengths:
  • Traveling Ecosystem - Provides a food source to a small ecosystem of animals naturally without injury to the Bildog, and lures prey close to its mouth with little effort.
  • Supreme Size and Numbers - Bildogs possess very few natural predators, due in part to a truly enormous size compared to many of the animals on Chad, and also due to the numbers of a Bildog herd preventing potential predators from seriously threatening the Bildog population.
  • Durable - Being so large, and literally possessing the ability to be eaten alive and continue to survive as an evolutionary trait, it comes as no surprise it is actually notoriously difficult to kill a Bildog. Their major organs are buried under mountains of regenerating flesh and are known to regenerate in the rare case they are damaged. Even when the organs are fatally destroyed, the Bildog are known to continue surviving without a majority of them for decades before finding a final place of rest. It is often said, a Bildog only dies when it is well and ready to.
Weaknesses:
  • Slow - From a large energy requirement, a large size, and a great number of other creatures depending on it (from its own herd to the stowaways in its Beard), the Bildog cannot afford to be very fast, instead relying on its strengths to compensate.
  • Lack of Instinctual Awareness - Being the biggest living thing on the planet, the Bildog possess no natural predators of any kind. They are the top of the food chain and have stayed this way for a very long time. This means, however, that slowly over the generations they have relied less and less on their perceptual awareness to the point that if a dangerous situation were to pass them by, they are unlikely to react at all. If an invasive species that can challenge the Bildog shows up on Chad, the Bildog will be unlikely to fight back, lacking a sense of urgency or fear.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore
  • Communication: Rumbling Roars
  • Technology level: N/a
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/a
  • General behavior: The Bildog are generally even-tempered creatures with little natural aggression. They travel in extended family groups of herds that possess several generations, given the lengthy average age of a Bildog. There are many sites around the world known for Bildog migration, and mating seasons, which only occur every other decade for an individual Bildog. One strange facet of behavior stems from an ancient meteorite containing massive quantities of the Clouzon-36 gas leaking out in the ocean has an adverse effect on the Bildog. They are able to sniff out a trace amount of the substance from tens to hundreds of kilometers away and appear to have an unnatural attraction to it. In fact, because of this meteorite, they have created a regular migration to the site for an unknown number of Bildog generations. Unfortunately, since it is located at the equator, sometimes in the summer months when the water begins to boil, the gases begin to leak out at even greater rates, attracting Bildog from all over the planet. While the naive Bildog youth are largely unaffected by the near boiling heat of the equator thanks to their size and durability lessoning the impact for the duration of their stay, the temperatures are often too much for the ecosystems they support and the prey they depend on for sustenance. Once these youths are abandoned, the Bildog will soon find themselves without food or helpful symbiotes. Even if they turn back, they will find their health deteriorated, and lifespan shortened.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • The Soul Star - Powered by the Nethermantic Magics of Darth Voracitos amplified by the enigmatic Fell Star (which started this war on Rhen Var), the Soul Star is a mechanism of insidious desolation. With a hungry gluttony, this weapon tears open the veil of reality into the depths of Chaos. The tear it generates consumes the matter and life force of a target and sends it into the maddening realm of the Netherworld.

Strengths:
  • The Soul Star - Through the twisted magic of the dark side, the Soul Star in conjunction with the Fell Star, is fully capable of annihilating any targeted mass by means of rending it from the material plane and damning it to the Netherworld over a period of time.
Weaknesses:
