One of the many holdings of the Ortolan Band, it is not uncommon to find Rabbo Dig performing with his band playing a variety of musical genres, most commonly Quenk Jazz, Deva, Core Drive, and the always famous Jizz. Like any Casino, the Sapphire Crown is designed to take your money whilst giving the illusion that you have a chance at winning, though to further sell that illusion, patrons do often win - legitimately - though it's often small sums, with only larger jackpots paid out infrequently, though frequently enough to keep patrons coming back through the doors. |

| What would a Corporation be if it didn't see to the needs and desires of its most upstanding and hard-working employees? Through a complicated agreement with the Five Families, The Halcyon Corporation was permitted to construct a specialized resort, which is only permitted to be utilized by its employees - this complicated agreement also ensured that The Halcyon Corporation was able to maintain its own on-site Security Force to act as Law Enforcement Agents. The Executive Resort internally billed as the best place to relax after a hard year's work, is open only to Upper Management and the highest Officers of the Corporation - on occasion special drawings permit lower-level and mid-level managers and their families to also attend the Resort. Consisting of a vast footprint, the Resort has multiple amenities, executive suites that are more like apartments than rooms, as well as a number of swimming pools and other recreational facilities. Access to the Resort is strictly controlled via a private Spaceport Terminal to accommodate private vessels and shuttles no larger than 200 meters in length. |

| The Five Families |
| The Government of Vora is so inexplicably tied to Crime that to separate the Government, Law Enforcement, and Military from the Crime Families would cost more than anyone is willing to spend and ultimately would force the restructuring of the Government as a whole. The Mafia State of Vora is held aloft and maintains the day-to-day operations expected of any Planetary Government due to the influence of the Five Families, with each family controlling a specific criminal element, as well as maintaining their own military and law enforcement agencies within their own specific regions. The Five Families remain in an uneasy truce, balanced only due to their lack of military might and their inability to trust one another, to prevent one family from rising above the others. Each of the Five Families as listed - The Kajidic of Casu the Hutt which controls all Spice Smuggling and Production. The Trandoshan Hunting Party of Ba Tsola hides their Slavery Enterprise beneath a thin veneer of Mercenary and Worker Contracts. The Toydarian Pusgo Gotra controls the Banks as well as some of the less reputable blue-collar crimes. The Ortolan Band of Rabbo Dig maintains a hold on the Casinos and the illegal activities that take place therein. While The Human Kaskarr Family is well known for keeping their affairs, criminal activities, and intentions well hidden from the other families. |
| Planetary Wealth Analysis |
| With little in the way of natural resources, the planet found other means to ensure that those that called it home grew extravagantly wealthy. Throughout the Halcyon System, and perhaps the Shiraya Expanse, Vora is synonymous with Drugs, Gambling, Banking, Tourism, and any other kind of illicit or illegal activity that is often overlooked and turned a blind eye upon provided that those activities don't overtly affect neighboring planets. Much of its revenue is brought in from its multitude of Casinos, while Smugglers ensure that the Spice keeps flowing, Banks ensure the security and prosperity of their accounts and account holders - of course, those same banks also keep accounts private for a modest monthly sum. This Criminal activity permitted due to the established Mafia State of Vora has seen immense wealth pour into the planet, and into the coffers and pockets of the crime families that control the planet. |
