It has come to my attention that Vanir Technologies has recently developed a specialized lightsaber lens. This lightsaber lens, allegedly, can counter Yuuzhan-Vong technology by allowing lightsabers to slice through them. As you are likely aware, the Techno Union has been engaged with the illegal Yuuzhan-Vong terrorist organizations squatting in its area of the Outer Rim. The Obsidian Order takes a very prominent role in the dispersal of these threats with myself often at the helm.

It is my understanding that these lenses are not yet available for mass production but are being produced and sold to select parties. I would request to purchase one (1) VT-Disruptor Lens for personal use. I have been able to requisition a significant portion of the Order's experimental weapons testing budget in order to secure the lens. I assure you no price is too steep and alternative forms of compensation can be negotiated if necesssary.

I understand, and of course am thrilled with your interest in the technology of the VT-Disruptor lens.

Under normal circumstances the purchase of a single lens would be no issue at all, I can give you my personal assurance that the lenses work well against all Yuuzhan Vong Biot-technology that utilizes a Power Gland organ in order to render Lightsaber Blades inert. This technology was substantially tested, and my own long term experience with Yuuzhan Vong Bio-technology was used in it's creation.

The issue in the sale of this product to yourself, and I hope you take no offense, comes with your Governments close association with the One Sith. Though I am aware of your Governments continued efforts in the dissolution of certain Yuuzhan Vong terrorist cells, I am also well aware of the close ties held with the One Sith Themselves.

It is my fear, and the fear of my Research and Development department that were this technology to fall into their hands they would be capable of breeding new Power Gland variations into their technology to render my entire product line inert. I hope you understand this issue. However, if you can provide a guarantee that this technology will not fall into their hands by any means of yours, I will personally greenlight this sale.

This is an understandable concern and I would be more than happy to assuage it.

Although the Techno Union does entertain an alliance with the One Sith this does not extend to the sharing of technological secrets- especially those they do not have the rights to. Under normal circumstances the Techno Union could be moved to share technology for sufficient monetary incentive, but so long as many of the Executive Council continue to hold anti-Yuuzhan-Vong sentiments, I am confident they would regard the VT-Disruptor Lens as priceless. To give such technology freely to the One Sith so they can counter it would inevitably jeopardize our own war; not to mention put the rest of the galaxy at risk if the most efficient counter to Vong technology developed for Force Users in the past millennial is rendered useless.

However, this assumes the Techno Union's Executive Council will be made aware of the purchase in the first place.

It is within my authority as a member of the Obsidian Order to remove any record of this purchase from our bookkeeping. Knowledge that I am in possession of a VT-Disruptor Lens would be limited to just ourselves. And anyone who is aware of the technology and witnesses me bisect an Amphistaff, I suppose, though it would be relatively easy to dismiss the resulting inquiries without issue. Of course, if this does not fully assure you, I would be more than happy to take any other courses of action you deem necessary.

The technology of course comes by itself and must be fitted into your own lightsaber, however I assume that this does not pose any issues.

If you would like, we'll have the product delivered to you via a discreet Courier to maintain the utmost privacy. In this regard I believe such a thing would serve both yourself, as well as my corporation.
