BIOGRAPHY:
Maxx Krenis was born to simple farmers on Dantooine. He wasn't destined for greatness, though he was "rescued" at an early age from the Knights of Ren from his home. The Knights told him that the Gulag plague ravaged the local trading and took the lives of his parents. In reality, though, this was a ploy; the Knights killed his parents and kidnapped him.
Giving him the name Von Ren, as a reflection of his new life and new "family", the Knights trained him vigorously in the mind and body. Exa Ren, a harsh taskmaster, instructed Von in the way of the vibroblade. He also browbeat the Knights' dogma into Von's head. By the time Von was 15, he was a near-master swordsman and a devout member of the Knights of Ren.
Exa sent Von on his first mission with a band of Knights to recover an abandoned shrine to Darth Vader from treasure hunters. Inside the catacomb, Von felt a connection to the statue of Vader on a spiritual level, and the shrine responded. It's eyes glowed a burgundy color. The Knights took this as a sign that Von was Force sensitive, and sent him to be trained by one of their respected Force savants.
