Intent: To Create Anti-Force Armor
Development Thread: Mining for the Stones
Manufacturer: Akio Diachi
Model: VoidShaddow Dueling Armor
Affiliation: Personal
Modularity: Moderate; gauntlets may be traded out, helmet may be altered to user's specification
Production: Semi Unique

Material:
- Shell Spider Silk
-Ballistic Shielding Mk 3
-Void stone
-Duraliumhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Duraliumhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Duralium

Classification: Dueling armor
Weight: 6.5 kg
Quality:
Plate/underlay
Lightsaber: 7/1
Blaster: 7/9
Kinetic: 6/1
Slugthrower: 6/1
Vibroblades: 7/9
Special Features:
Voidstone
Upgradable: Akio is not tech savvy in the least. As such he did not include any HUDs, re-breathers, flame throwers, built in blasters, or anything of that nature. However, users may later add these things if they desire. It is not recommended and a secondary sub may be in order if vast changes are made.
Agile: the plates of this armor are designed to be agile, allowing the user to move through combat quickly, effectively, and lethally. However, this came at a cost in carrying capacity.
Mounting slots: This armor comes with slots to mount/carry equipment. The slots are as follows and nothing more. Note that equipping, say a heavy massive rocket launcher to the shoulder and a heavy jetpack to the back does not work because a person may only mount to the shoulder or the back, not both. More over, mounting heavy weaponry or do-dads will void the "Agile" feature on this armor.
  • Gauntlets
  • Boots
  • Belt (Utility)
  • Helmet (Upgradable: HUD may be added if desired, re-breather or air purifier may be added if desired; Image not shown)
  • Back (cannot be equipped if shoulder is equipped)
  • Shoulder (small mount; cannot be equipped if back is equipped)
Strengths:

++Voidstone: Affecting the Force on this armor be by say, Telekinesis, pyrokensis, or any other force abilities is drastically reduced. What might be a force shove would only be a soft tap.

++Agile
++Dueling armor: This armor was cafted with dueling in mind. As such, it is optimized for 1v1 occasions more than 1vMass or MassvMass, Massv1, etc, etc
Weaknesses:

--Low Tech: In an era where the worlds are computerized, beings are cyborgs, and everyone has a super amazing HUD, this armor comes with none of these. There are no built in tech gadgets or gizmos, leaving the person totally on their own skill when it comes to combat. These may be added however it is not recommended since it will add weight and could reduce the armor's agility rating.
--Void stone: If the wearer desires to use Force Illusions on themselves, they cannot affect the armor and would have a very challenging time affecting themselves. If they desire to cloak or use the White current, the armor is not affected. The void stone goes both ways, you cannot have your cake and eat it too.
--Kinks in the armor: While the armor has generally good protection, there are a number of "kinks" in a way. For instance, the underlay is prodigiously weak against slugthrowers, kinetic damage, and lightsabers. The plates are decent against all of these while the underlay provides a stronger support against blasters and vibroblades than the plates themselves because it is primarily composed of spider shell silk
--Um... Someone forget their pants? To keep the armor light and with the "dueling" idea of it, there are no plates bellow the belt. All armor bellow the belt is underlay, since Akio adhered to a different, more "honorable" for of fighting for this armor's use.
Description:
When it comes to armor, there are few sets able to cope with the Force user. Recent markets in Elwood with their discovery of Void stones in the earth have made for a market that is currently able to support the stone that repells the control of the Force. Akio traveled to the planet with the intent to mine some of this stone for business purposes. The Force user found that mining for the stones was not going to be as easy as he thought it would be. The Chiss, then enlisted the help of trio of mining brothers. Together the four of them found a vein of the ore and they quickly went away at mining the materials. Since the Chiss did not have any money to pay them, instead they split the earnings and he worked to help gather the materials.

With his share, Akio had a void stone laquering created, and applied to the with Duralium and Lanthanide plates that dampened Force effects. Unable to do his normal Force imbuedment that the Chiss would have for the armor to make it stronger or add special properties to it, instead he decided to craft armor that was, by design better. The plates that were crafted were smaller, but overlapped in a variety of places to give the wearer increased movement. The underlay was crafted from spidershell silk that was microionized from the void stones, dampening Force effects on it as well. However, the shell spider silk offers different protection for obvious reasons. Akio tested the armor himself, and found that it had the agility that many Jedi relied upon during their combat while lacking the weight of heavy armor. Once more the Armor does lack many of the technology advancements that the galaxy affords; while this may be added, the weight can void the acrobatic nature of this armor.

All in all, this armor is an attempt to arm for the more "noble" and lost classic art of dueling. It is not crafted with the intent for one to take on masses of villains or sith spawn, but rather with the intent to protect one person versus another in the age old art of dueling where one person faces the other in a skill against skill alone fight.

Your company doesn't state that it is capable of constructing armour.

Production: Minor
15 posts isn't enough for Minor Production of Voidsteel items. You'll be needing more like 35-40, especially for something like this set of armour that has decent stats against everything.

Void Steel?

++Modular
Not a strength.

Helmet (Upgraded, HUD added if wanted, possible re-breather or air purifier; interchanged entirely if desired, however it would have a completely different armor rating. Not shown in image)
Remove possible re-breather or air purifier. Either it has them, or it doesn't. Same with the helmet. Not sure why it'd have a different armour rating.

Lightsaber: 9/1
Drop this to 7. Nothing about Duralium or Lanthanide mentions being good at resisting lightsabres. Ballistic shielding only gives it a minor boost, as the wookieepedia page states.

They may be interchanged for prior Choas Cannon or Star Wars Cannon Subs. The slots are as follows and nothing more. You don't need to mention Chaos Canon or Star Wars Canon, just give a type of weapons that can be mounted. I.E: Blasters, Repeating Blasters, etc.

++Voidstone: This armor cannot be affected by the Force by say, Telekinesis, pyrokensis, or any other force abilities.
Void Stone only dampens the Force, it doesn't cut it out entirely.

Tag me when you're done.

Alright, I changed some of the wording per the requests--dropped the Lightsaber rating to seven, and the armor to semi-unique. Also, I changed the manufacturer.

rendering it force imune as well,
Void Stone is not immune to the force, it dampens the force. Please make corrections to the submission so that this is clear.

++Lightsaber resistant plates
I might be missing it, but you've stated you were unable to imbue the armor with the force, which would thus make it incapable of being lightsaber resistant without actual materials that are lightsaber resistant (which lanthanide and duralium are not). Could you clarify how this armor has lightsaber resistance?

The underlay was crafted from spidershell silk that was microionized from the void stones, rendering it force imune as well, but offering less protection than the plates themselves since it was crafted from spidershell silk.
This statement still needs to be amended.

As I've requested previously, please correct the text highlighted above. Void stone is not immune to the force. It dampens the effects of the force, it is not a ysalamir.
