Description:
The Void Ripper is a mysterious slugthrower. No one is sure who made it or why. The pistol does pack a punch however. More punch than is really needed for a weapon of this size. Rumoured to be made from stolen plans by a band of pirate craftsmen the Void Ripper throws sixty calibre slugs with deadly force.
The overkill velocity and size of the rounds come with several drawbacks however. Such a large round will surely tip the barrel out of alignment requiring massive strength to fire true. Also the force of the blast is prone to break your arm if your not an experienced gunslinger.
This weapon excels against heavy armors, smashing them with huge rounds and providing enough power to waste most Reavers and other random space creatures. The pure kinetic force of the round against armor will cause bruising, possibly internal bleeding, even if there is no penetration.
