TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Hellyni species is one well known for their skills with lightsabers. Retroactively, they are normally refereed to for creating masterwork level creations due to their extensive history with the fabled weapon design. However, when one has an arguably powerful connection to the force, as well as a background in the creation of various weapon types, The lightsaber could be improved upon.
Atheus is one such man. Being Hellyni born, his species naturally has an aptitude for the creation of lightsabers, and their various designs. Atheus has used a series of crystals to fabricate a lightsaber that suits his fighting style. Atheus is a Force Attacker, or a combatant that uses the force in conjunction with his own skills and abilities to increase his potency upon the field. He takes to heart the meaning of "Strike hard, Strike fast, No Mercy."
This lightsaber would only accent this style. Increasing the potency of his usage of the force while using the weapon. However, this relies very heavily upon the force and its usage. So much so that should he enter any kind of force nullification field, or be affected by any like minded ability or effect, it can diminish, or entirely rip the force from him. Shutting off not just his use of the force, but also reduces his ligthsaber to a mere paperweight.
The weapon can be best used with, an in conjunction with the force for very disastrous effects. However, it relies completely upon the force. A major crutch for the weapon, and its user.

- Same ol' Song: As any typical Lightsaber, the weapon can cut through just about anything given enough time, leverage, and strength behind the strikes.
- Through the Force: A lightsaber is typically activated with a button, or on some cases, a Force activated switch hidden within the weapon. This lightsaber is much in the same vain as the Force activated lightsaber, yet in a very different way. Using the unique lightsaber crystal, it can only be activated through the force itself. Focusing upon the lightsaber crystals housed inside, and providing some energy from the person's own pool of power, will activate the weapon. This means, that the person using the lightsaber must be directly connected to the lightsaber via Bonding with the crystals, and have a force connection. This greatly limits undesired people from taking and using the lightsaber against you.
- Force Weapon: Utilizing three crystals housed within the lightsaber, The force crystal, after being attuned to Atheus, provided a strange effect with his weapon. The lightsaber itself becomes a conduit of the force. Allowing for Atheus to be able to more easily drink from his pool of force potential, and also use the weapon as a catalyst for various powers. Acting much in the same way Force weapon allows the user to imbue the weapon with energy to resist attacks, do more damage, or unleash combinations of lightsaber strikes while charged with Lightning, Telekienesis, or otherwise.
- Amplification: While using the lightsaber, one crystal in particular, The Wild Force Shard, Allows for all uses of the force to be exponentially more powerful.
- Sustenance: The weapon requires feeding through the force. In battle, this means that the user will have to be constantly connected to the weapon through the force itself. This can drain the user over longer periods of time. Used for quick fights, or sparring in a limited amount of time is best for the use of this lightsaber.
- Nullified: As with the creation of the lightsaber purely through the force, entering the nullification field will remove all effects of the weapon. Even more so, the lightsaber will shut off as the connection between user and weapon is built through the force. Unlike other lightsabers that can still be used within a force nullification bubble.
- Dependent: The lightsaber is a conduit of the force. While it allows one to drink more deeply from the force, it cannot replace the force powers used in conjunction with the weapon. The ability of the user is dependent upon how well they can use whatever aspect of the force they use in combination with this lightsaber.
- Energy Consumption: As with the increased power, and usage of the force while the lightsaber is active, It does not reduce the amount of energy needed to use said powers. It only amplifies the power of the ability used to be much stronger.
- Same ol' Dance: As with many other lightsabers, this weapon cannot cut through lightsaber resistant materials like others can. As well, this lightsaber cannot be used in water. While it can be sustained in a raining environment, it cannot be submerged.
