STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
{+} Species Advantage in Body Language and Vocal Cues: As a Lorrdian, Virgil has a natural aptitude with uncovering a person's true intentions by observing their body language and facial expressions. She can also pick up hints in their voice and is incredibly proficient at mimicking someone's voice and manner of speech after spending a short amount of time in their company. This is assuming they speak a language she understands, of course. Otherwise, she's good at reproducing their voice, but in a language they don't speak and the imitation won't be perfect as there are some sounds and mannerisms in alien languages that she has yet to encounter. Give her some time and she will be able to reproduce them, however. This also means Virgil is incredibly good at faking alien languages. She has no clue what she is saying, but she can appear to be fluent in any language that she has spent a good deal of time being exposed to. Virgil is also versed in Kinetic Communication, a language comprised of gestures, facial expressions, and body posture. It was the first form of communication that was taught to her as a toddler as is common in Lorrdian society.
{+} Uncanny Precision in Combat: Virgil's life of learning to be a surgeon has given her a keen eye and steady hand with a blade. This translates into her use of a lightsaber. Very rarely do her strikes fail to hit their mark. Not only is she precise with her strikes, but she is also deadly accurate for one who has seen so little combat thanks to her comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy of many different species.
{+} Drunken Dueling: Virgil's slender and athletic build is best suited for agility over brute force and she knows it. She has spent a long time developing her own method of fighting that involves unconventional movements varying in both speed and intensity. To an uninformed onlooker or opponent, it appears as though she is intoxicated and stumbling about. The idea revolves around deliberately appearing to be moving at random with no plan or training and incorporates her incredible flexibility to avoid strikes in ways that make it look like it was an accident. A favorite maneuver of hers is to tip over towards the opponent, ducking under a high swing, and landing harmlessly on their chest. This often throws her opponents off guard and it is that moment where she takes advantage of the confusion and makes her move. The only issue is that this style is in no way perfected yet and there are some glaring holes. That is, holes that aren't on purpose. Virgil has only really used this in non-lethal sparring and training matches out of her lack of confidence in it. Even then, she will sometimes find that her style isn't working like she hoped and will get too nervous to continue using it and just default to Shii-cho Form. One day this "Drunken Dueling" style will be perfected and she will be confident enough to use it in real combat. She will possibly even begin teaching it to others. However, today is not that day.
{-} Sociopath Bordering on Psychotic: Virgil's life of being intimately acquainted with the intricacies of the anatomy of many species far sooner than anyone should have been has caused the way she sees other people to become distorted and grotesque. The first and most prominent thing on her mind when observing another person is how much she would love to take them apart and put them back together. Virgil is obsessed with what makes people tick and how she can get them on the operating table. This is purely for educational purposes and to sate her own curiosities, but it certainly makes her a difficult person to carry on a conversation with and can make being in a room alone with her particularly dangerous.
{-} Her Artificial Spine: While it allows her to function normally and supports her entire skeleton, Virgil's cybernetic spine doesn't impart any abilities beyond what a normal Lorrdian could do and can be a very necessary hindrance. It is merely a support implant and she has to get it regularly maintained to make sure it has no possibility of malfunctioning. After all, if it were to even perform at less than peak efficiency she could experience troubles moving and worse; not be able to move at all if it were to malfunction. Thankfully, her former master built security measures into the design to help prevent it being shut down by an EMP or ion weapon, but repeated exposure could wear down the parts and leave her implant exposed. Virgil also favors her back and the metal brace on the back of her neck in combat thanks to this, making her overly cautious at times. It could cost her everything if she doesn't learn to stop worrying about it.
{-} Hatred of Droids: Droids have no organic parts. So, Virgil cannot take them apart like she wants to do with everyone else. She would need a wrench or... something. This frustrates her to no end and makes her extremely on edge around droids.
{-} Lack of Self Confidence: Since she was a child, Virgil has been told that she is nothing. Even in her days learning the art of surgery she was constantly reminded of how little she truly knew. Even though she is undoubtedly a fantastic surgeon and has great potential as Sith, she still has a slight inferiority complex that does at times affect her actions. Namely when dealing with the combat style she is developing.
{-} Emotionally Stunted: Virgil has difficulty with things like empathy and expression. She rarely finds joy in any activity that doesn't involve carving up another living thing. Mostly because it's the only thing she has ever known, but she has yet to be exposed to anything that can bring about the same reaction from her. Anything that sounds like it may be empathy is likely coming from cold logic and observation. This isn't to say that Virgil is completely cut off from normal emotions. She still feels happiness, pain, confusion, sorrow, love, and so on. They just all come from different sources than you would expect.
{-} Fear of Abandonment: This may be thanks to her obsessive personality, but Virgil can quickly become attached to a person if she ever manages to look past her focus on their internal organs. This is a problem, however, as this also fuels the fear that manifested in her childhood as she was passed around like a sickly pet no one wanted. After she forms a connection with someone (which is rare, but has happened) she becomes constantly aware of the possibility of their departure or betrayal and it terrifies her. She will sometimes go against her own character in order to keep herself in a loved one's (not that anyone should want Virgil's love) favor.
