PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Pale skin and dark green eyes pierce from beneath a mane of raven hair. Viraa's witchy nose crinkles above plum-painted lips, all framed by crimson robes befitting of her status as a Nightsister.

INVENTORY
  • STAFF: Viraa's staff is not a mere walking stick, but a gnarled branch of an ancient Dathomir night-tree, its bark as black as a moonless sky. Jagged, amethyst crystals jut from its surface, catching the light with an eerie gleam. It is as much a weapon as it is a conduit, able to channel her magic and unleash crackling bolts of green Force lightning.
  • SHRIKE: Viraa's rancor, named Shrike, is a nightmare given leathery flesh. Even larger than most, his obsidian scales bear jagged scars that writhe with a faint, bioluminescent purple - a chilling testament to Viraa's brutal taming. His crimson eyes, once wild and defiant, now hold a flicker of fear that serves as Viraa's crown jewel. Shrieks erupting from his maw are no longer roars of defiance, but controlled bellows that echo Viraa's own dark will. He's a weapon honed by cruelty.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Cloaked in devotion to the Nighsisters, she approaches the world with a cold suspicion. Loyalty to her coven runs deep, making her fiercely defensive and prone to sarcasm. Don't expect open hearts and shared secrets – Viraa keeps her past tightly guarded. Yet, beneath the icy exterior lies a surprising well of pragmatism. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty if it means achieving her goals, and a dry wit often peeks through. While glimpses of compassion, especially towards animals, hint at hidden depths. A complex character, a constant battle between unwavering faith and the faint embers of something more.

STRENGTHS

  • DATHOMIR MAGIC: Viraa is a masterful practitioner of Dathomir Magic, wielding its dark and mystical energies with precision and finesse. From her early upbringing among the Nightsisters, she has honed her abilities through rigorous training and ancient rituals, unlocking the full potential of her connection to the Dark Side of the Force. She finds it significantly easier to use spells involving chains for reasons unknown to even her.

HISTORY

Viraa wasn't born special on Dathomir. Unlike some Nightsisters who possessed an innate connection to the dark magic that crackled through their feral world, Viraa struggled. The twisted rituals and dependence on raw, chaotic power felt alien to her. Yet, she persevered, clawing her way through the harsh training, her loyalty to the coven unwavering.

One night, the very foundations of Dathomir trembled. The Nightsisters, attuned to the world's unseen currents, felt a surge of power unlike any other erupt from a long-dormant tomb. Whispers of an ancient relic, an artifact humming with primordial magic, spread like wildfire through the coven. The Crone Mother, the wizened leader, saw in this relic the key to solidifying the Nightsisters' dominance over Dathomir.

Viraa, however, felt a tremor of unease. This wasn't just power; it was a primal force, a long-lost thread in the tapestry of Dathomir's magic. Its absence yawned like a wound, threatening to unravel the very fabric of the world. The coven's hunger for dominance made Viraa bristle. This relic needed to be restored, not wielded for destruction.

The Crone Mother, however, saw Viraa's unease as weakness. The mission to retrieve the relic was a crucial test, a chance for Viraa to prove her worth. Yet, a seed of doubt had been sown. Was this truly a test of loyalty, or a way to distance a potential dissenter? Accepting the mission, Viraa wasn't sure who she was serving – the coven or a higher purpose. Now, an exile in the making, she sets out, a Nightsister on a precarious path. Will she return with the relic, or will she defy the coven and forge her own destiny?
