- Planetary: The Vincent Class Medical Frigate has the ability to land on the surface of a planet with relative ease, allowing it to serve a large range of medical duties.
- Bacta: To help serve the need of those they help, and to cut back on storage space, the Vincent Class Medical Frigate is capable of producing and storing Bacta on limited quantities, allowing it to match situations it encounters.
- Medical: The Vincent Class Medical Frigate was designed first and foremost as a medical ship, with only minimal weaponry added to the vessel after. It is not equipped in any way to handle combat against vessels of similar or larger size and predominantly has anti-starfighter defense weapons.
- Landed: When the Vincent Class Medical Frigate is stationary on a planet, it's shield capabilities are diminished, as more energy is drawn from defense systems to help power and maintain the vast amounts of medical equipment and facilities on the vessel.
Following his joining of the Order of the Silver Jedi, Darius Ino'Kane was slightly disappointed in the lack of purpose-built medical craft for an organization that was supposed to be dedicated to helping those in need. He immediately set to work on designing a vessel with that purpose in mind. The Vincent Class Medical Frigate was based roughly on vessels from Darius's species, with an elongated, almost biological design to it. With both ray shielding and particle shielding, the vessel is designed to be able to get to its destination under any circumstances, and with onboard bacta production facilities, the frigate is able to handle almost any medical situation it faces.
