Smith: Viktor by trade is a smith. Since a young age Viktor has taken it upon himself to learn all possible skills related to the trade and functions of a Smith. He has learned from various masters, taught himself various metallurgical skills, and has sought out all knowledge that he possibly could. Since a young age it has been his dream to emulate the Smith's of old, crafting dreaded and hallowed weapons with simple skill and dedication. He travels the galaxy searching for new knowledge and new applications of his craft, always learning and always picking up something new.
Weapons Tester: Though he is by far no expert of combat, Viktor is always one to test the weapons that he creates. As such Viktor is able to use swords, spears, daggers, and most edged weapons up to a point. Though he won't stand against any blademasters he can hold his own well enough with someone of his own skill and below.
Sliced Index: Due to his overeager attitude as a young child Viktor would often play around in the smithy of his local village, this of course eventually lead to accidents. During one of these accidents Viktor placed his hand within the grasp of one of the sharper blades in the forge. The heated Durasteel cut his hand, slicing clean through his index finger before he managed to jump away. Though the wound was cauterized and there was no other damage, the injury has of course inhibited him somewhat over the years. Though he is still capable of holding his tools and fighting with a blade, it makes using blasters and the like a bit more difficult.
Blind Spot: When one works all their life within the heat of a forge accidents are bound to happen. One of these accidents managed to see a small piece of metal jutted into Viktor's eye. The small bit of durasteel lodged itself into his eye, so tiny and microscopic that one of the doctors had to retrieve it. Unfortunately his vision could not be fully recovered after the accident, and as such Viktor has a blind spot to the left of his vision.

Viktor can best be described with a single word, naive.
Though he is not unaware of what happens in the galaxy, Viktor is blissfully ignorant of most of the gory details. He does not realize, or perhaps not care about the war, death, and constant killing that is happening throughout the galaxy. The young Smith is perfectly happy living in his own little bubble of happiness, moving from world to world and learning the trade of his craft. He doesn't tend to ask many questions nor does he really poke his nose where it doesn't belong. Morally he is inclined towards the light, often trying to help when he can, though always with a hint of childish innocence.
He is not an idiot, as many assume upon first meeting him, Viktor simply prefers to look on the happier side of life.
When he is confronted with darkness, as we inevitably all are, Viktor has a tendency to force himself into foolhardy if not deadly situations. He firmly believes that it is his duty to do good in the galaxy, and thus when he is forced to do so, Viktor will more often then not go charging headlong into a situation that he himself does not fully understand. This odd choice of morality tends to crop up when he's confronted with a personal disaster rather then an effect on a grand scale.

To say that Viktor has lived an exciting life would be like saying a rock has gone on a lot of dates. Viktor was born on a small world in Wild Space colonized by a small group of agricultural scientists some thousands of years ago. The world has no real name, or none that is recorded on any star charts. Though the residents of the planet have the same technological level as the rest of the galaxy, using droids to plow their fields and desalination to freshen their water most of those who live there have devolved into an ancient agrarian society.
Most families live isolated on farms with a central village some miles away. The Central village is not large, at least not compared to most modern cities, though it is sizable enough to contain a small starport, though even that is little more then an open field.
Within the village things are as one would expect. There are stores, inns, cantinas, of course the Smithy. Though not perhaps an oddity for some and in a place that others might expect an arms dealer to be the local smithy on Viktor's world serves an important function. When droids get broken, their outer shells scratched or torn up it is the smithy that fixes them. Since droids are an integral part of how the local economy works the smith within the little village has a steady stream of business, and of course always branches out to other more unique products.
It is within this smithy that Viktor learned his craft.
Though the son of one of the local farmers Viktor's interest has always been more in tune with the heat of the forge then the grueling labor of farm work and from a young age he studied that craft.
At the age of sixteen Viktor decided that his little world had little left to teach him, and knowing that the galaxy was filled with millions of worlds each with their own traditions decided to set out on his own. For years now Viktor has studied with different smiths, from the Iron Forgers of Zakuul to the Artisans of Naboo. Viktor has made his way across the stars studying with all who would offer, and taking datacrons with him to further learn their craft, even the Smiths of Mandalore.
