Even though he might act in that manner, he cares for his rivals that are comrades and is willing to end anyone who harms them. This developed when Tor heard about his sister, who was brutally killed.

- Coruscant is where it all started. Tor was born into a nice and wealthy family. With his father being CEO of a major company and his mother serving the Jedi, Tor was not very close to his parents. Resulting in him being closer to his siblings, more specifically his sister Silvia. Day and night, they were always together. Silvia took care of Tor for quite a bit of his life, since she was his only big sister. One day however, his mother took her away as she was old enough to join the Jedi. Tor didn't know but she trained everyday for that day.
- Tor, left alone, assumed he was next. It appeared to be a tradition of the Siln family. He started going to an academy that prepped children for the Jedi life. At the academy, he learned everyday skills, trained, and made friends. He would stay in this academy for a majority of his life. When he learned everything that was required, he was ready for his last test. To find a Jedi Order. This most likely wouldn't be easy, but he was determined. Around this time, Tor was informed about his sister. She had been struck down by a sith lord. Angry and sad at the same time, his determination increased. His plan was to join a Jedi Order still.
