  • Modularity: No.
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Durasteel
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Vibro-Gauntlet
  • Size: Hand
  • Length: 16cm
  • Weight: 3.5 kg
  • Ammunition Type: Energy cell
  • Ammunition Capacity: 10 normal charges/5 powered charges
  • Effective Range: Personal. It has a similar range to a small blaster pistol but dissipates at any further.
  • Rate of Fire: Single Action
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Blasts areas with non-damaging but repulsing vibrations
Strengths:
  • Alterable force - The amount of force in the blast can be changed, with more powerful blasts consuming more energy.
  • Attached - The mechanism is a part of Razel's hand, meaning for anyone else to use use it would need to cut it off and alter it massively.
  • Weight - The hand itself is quite heavy, allowing for heavy hits.
Weaknesses:
  • Energy consumption - Razel requires energy to live and this weapon can very heavily consume the power of energy cells he could use in other ways.
  • Noise - The blast makes a loud noise, so it is not viable for stealth whatsoever.
  • Heavy - The decently heavy hand, while providing heavier hits, is inconvenient for dealing with fragile objects.
  • Needs air - The Vibroblaster sends vibrations through the air, meaning if there is none it is rendered useless.
DESCRIPTION
The Vibroblaster would use a variation of an Ultrasonic Vibration Generator to send strong vibrations through the air, blasting objects and people with force. It's blast would not cause harm alone, but at higher powers could launch targets at surfaces powerfully, causing harm with the crash. Razel had, before being a cyborg, been given a job by a mercenary to create a weapon to act like a force user's force push. He had never pursued this, but years later - as a cyborg - thinks it to be a useful tool. And so he used the resources he had kept from his travels to create this weapon - an addition to his hands. He never solved the issue of energy loss, but felt content with his finished product and added it to his body.

Ammunition Capacity: Amount of Power Razel is charged with.
This needs to be more specific than that: the amount of times this can be fired normally with an "average" charge, i.e; normal setting, and then you can explain how much more a charged blast consumes from that.

example:
Ammunition Capacity: 30 Charges; 1 Normal burst consumes 1 charge; 1 Charged burst consumes 5 charges

Can you find me a canon example of a sound-based or vibration based weapon that acts this way? Off the top of my head the geonosian sonic blaster fires "bubbles" of condensed sonic energy, which is quite different from this.

Long before the rise of the Galactic Empire, Geonosian weaponsmiths explored sonic wave theory. Eventually, they built basic generators that could convert sonic vibrations into other forms of energy

While I could not find any direct canon technology that is alike to my concept here, using this history (from wookieepedia) surely it would be possible to use the same technology to convert the sonic vibrations to a different form of energy. I'm a bit iffy on this, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I added the ammunition limit, thanks for clarification.

  • This weakness is confusing, given that you list that it uses energy cells and has charges, but the weakness indicates that this is being powered from the character?
