- Twice Taught: Having been taught by both Jedi and Mandalorian, Veyra is a force to be reckoned with. Despite having put down her old lightsaber, the former Jedi has retained the martial prowess and blended it in with what Tarre has taught her. Combine that with a set of beskar armour, and Veyra becomes a terror on the battlefield.
- Light on Her Feet: Veyra had always been quick on her feet whenever fighting, and that hasn’t changed since becoming a Mandalorian. Favouring a more lighter set of armour, that seems to barely slow her down much.
- Thick Skin: To say Veyra has been through some shit, would be understating it. Having gone through mental, emotional and physical torment, all of which have only hardened her resolve over the years. But even still, she wasn’t infallible…
-
- Buried Trauma: …There are after all certain events from her childhood that still left scars deep within. While Veyra might’ve built walls up to protect them, they aren’t impenetrable. If the memories are brought to the surface, or she witnesses similar acts, Veyra is liable to become a lot more volatile than her otherwise calm nature.
- Not a Tank: Despite having a heavy focus on physical combat; and now wearing beskar armour, Veyra is not built to endure a lot of heavy hits. Her focus is more on dodging than blocking, if she can help it. Especially against foes that are twice her size, and likely wielding an equally as heavy weapon.

Current Arc:
Having seemingly lost her connection to the Force, Viera wandered the galaxy once more. Only this time, she lacked any purpose behind it. She felt lost, no she was lost. Just floating around the galaxy feeling unable to do anything. Unfortunately, one day she got caught in the middle of something she wasn’t even involved in to begin with. And got nearly fatally shot in the process. She only survived becauseTarre Priest had been nearby. He saw to it that she was recovered, and once she was back on her feet, made her an offer.
Little did Viera know that she’d find a new purpose within the Mandalorian Empire.
Not as Viera, but as Veyra of Clan Priest.
Viera’s upbringing was nothing special, living a modest life through modest means. That was at least, until she reached the age where her connection of the Force was discovered. It hadn’t taken long after that, that she began to hear voices in her head. But the moment she brought it up to her parents, they tried to kill her.
She was only saved because her aunt and uncle had been present at the house at that time. They had managed to grab her and take her to safety, while her mother ranted and screamed about her being cursed.
It wouldn’t be until much later in life; when Viera had looked into it, that she learned why her parents had tried to do what they did. Apparently her ancestors (from her mother’s side) originated from a now lost clan on Dathomir. They were a group that heavily focused on communing with the dead. Until one day, they delved too deeply and cursed the whole clan. Any details of this were lost to time, but it explained things.
From then on, across a multitude of generations, their family distanced themselves away from Dathomir, until they were indistinguishable to any other regular family. And everything seemed to go fine, right up until their family was graced with a child that was Force sensitive.
Viera’s uncle and aunt had made arrangements for her to be sent to one of the Jedi Orders. But she was intercepted by a travelling Rogue Jedi Master; Allyia Zarn. She took Viera on as her Padawan, and they travelled the galaxy together. It was during that time, where Viera learned how to use the Force, and discovered that the voices she had been hearing were that of the dead.
But then the day eventually came, Allyia had been slowly dying from a wound she sustained from a former student, many years ago. Though not before she made sure Viera was set on the right path, and the newly Knighted Jedi set out onto the galaxy alone.
Her adventures took her to several smaller organizations of Jedi, such as the Jakku Enclave. But those didn’t remain forever, as the Brotherhood of the Maw sought them out to destroy. Viera was stubborn however, and she followed them all the way to Coruscant. She had been assisting evacuating people from the lower levels, when she confronted a Sith. He had fallen to her blade, but not before stabbing her with a dagger.
At first she thought nothing of it, something she was able to heal. But it became quickly apparent that it wasn’t something so simple. No, instead the dagger had been imbued with a paralysis poison. One that was slowly taking over Viera’s body.
The irony of the situation wasn’t lost on her. Hers were different circumstances, she wasn’t dying, but it was eerily similar to how her former Master’s final years played out. Viera on the other hand? She refused to let herself meet the same kind of fate, or even an arguable worst fate. Thus, she set forth across the galaxy, scouring for something that would purge the poison from her body. Eventually she found it, a ritual that if performed correctly would do just that…but at a cost. Viera didn’t care however, she wanted it gone.
Little did she know that the cost would be her connection to the Force…
