Description: Leos is a traveler. Some of those close to him fear for his personal safety because of his lack of propensity for violence. As such, they've advocated that he recruit a personal guard unit. While he could have been satisfied with using a readily available armor, such as Ignus Industries produced security armor, he decided that if he was going to have soldiers guarding him, that their lives should be of greater importance than baseline armor would indicate. That being the case, he formulated a plan to utilize the other Sith in an attack on Concordia in order to obtain some Mandalorian Iron (Beskar) which he could utilize to make superior quality armor for his soldiers. Now, being as he didn't have any Mandalorians working for him, he couldn't quite utilize it to its full potential (hence the armor being only an 8 and not a 9 or 10). He was alright with that, because in the end it would still be superior armor to standard market available gear.

What he came up with was the Vermillion Armor. By nature it is resistant to blasters, ballistic weaponry, and lightsabers (though it's not impervious to them). In addition, it comes installed with a HUD that tracks IFF markers located in the armor to allow the unit to keep tabs on each other and respond to friends under fire with more accuracy. The infrared vision allows for easy tracking at night or in other such situations in which the eyes alone are not good enough. Additionally, the armor comes complete with particle filtration, and necessary heating and cooling components to make it function in all weather types. Plus a commlink for ease of communication.

Now the armor isn't without drawbacks. A limited supply of Beskar means a limited number of armor sets can be build. In addition, it's heavy, meaning that the soldiers wearing it must undergo extensive physical training so that they can efficiently utilize the armor. Other than the systems mentioned above, and the inherent properties of the materials, the armor has no other defensive measures. Unlike stormtrooper armor it does not come equipped with a personal ray shield, and it does not have a jetpack like mandalorian armor might. It can take a beating, and keep those wearing it alive longer. That's about it.
