Strengths: Gizka are highly reproductive. While mated they can reproduce every few days. This fact alone has left them scattered throughout the galaxy. They are a common site on most planets, and even aboard some ships. The Venomous Gizka however hold another fascinating trait. Their small but ultra sharp 'barb-like' teeth are laced with their natural saliva which is a rich potent poison stemming from the petals of an, as of yet unknown, type of mushroom. This was a genetic experiment done by Arkanian researchers.
Weaknesses: A medium lifespan of about six years before they die. Gizka are infamously affected by the crafted Gizka poison that is lethal in large doses, and making them go insane in smaller doses. Hot blooded from the lizard family, they often need a warmer climate to be at full energy. The cold slows them down.

Distinctions: Venomous Gizka sport a bright patch of scales on their back above their tail. These scales give off an incandescent glow.
Average Lifespan: With adequate food supplies, Gizka can live up to 6 years.
Diet: Their diet consists of small bugs, berries and leaves.
Communication: Mostly hissing and a low throttle of their vocal chords, causing reverb.

General behavior: Docile creatures that will generally hop about foraging for food, or sit and bathe in the sunlight. Rarely aggressive unless cornered, they are content to let most any species reside near them. An observant species that relies on it's reproductive skills to continue to thrive in the galaxy. The poisonous variety however is less approachable in nature, and often more violent than their base strain of lizard.

History: The Gizka are known across the galaxy, mostly as friendly and sometimes horribly annoying lizards that really had no base or home to claim, but were as ubiquitous as common household vermin. The Venomous off-shoot however was a select few that survived the tests of a sect of Arkanian scientists breeding experimental animals that they saw as under-developed. These creatures needed more 'bite' and more defense systems than originally born with. Through genetic splicing and various tests, eventually they came to create the venomous sort, extracting the genomes of poisonous mushrooms as the base for their toxic venom.

Intent: This creation is to give something of a connection to another living being to the socially inept, and complex lunacy of Nazo. Giving him a pet that is poisonous and had been the subject of experimentation, there is something of a compassion there that gives Nazo more of a depth of character than simply being completely nuts.
