DESCRIPTION

VektorLine Armatur is a specialized weapons engineering firm devoted to the development of kinetic-focused shipborne artillery and high-velocity ballistic systems. Where VantaBlast Industries leans into explosive payloads and battlefield saturation, VektorLine is silent and surgical—its weapons strike like gods throwing spears. Every design prioritizes momentum, precision, and penetrative force above all else, forging tools of annihilation that obey no fireballs or fanfare, only the cold logic of mass and motion.

Born within the fortified depths of Polis Massa's subterranean shipyard, VektorLine combines experimental electromagnetics with ancient principles of mass acceleration, producing cutting-edge weaponry capable of compromising even the most exotic defense profiles. Each weapon platform—whether turreted coilgun or spinal-mounted gauss lance—is calibrated for maximum impact velocity with minimal EM signature, enabling kills before sensors finish cycling.

No public catalogue exists. Every contract is bespoke, handled through VesperWorks' procurement shell networks, and delivered to clients whose discretion is as critical as their credits. Ammunition types include anti-shield penetrators, hyperdense dart rounds, composite sabots, and adaptive flechette arrays—each one tested in zero-G vacuum conditions and optimized for microgravity recoil dispersion.

VektorLine's output is rarely deployed en masse. Instead, their weapons are built for elite ships, strike groups, and operations where brute force must be refined into surgical devastation. To arm a vessel with VektorLine technology is to make a statement: not just that you intend to kill, but that you intend to kill cleanly, fast, and without a trace of theatrics.

RATIONALE

VektorLine Armatur was formed at the personal direction of Serina Calis following a classified review of VesperWorks' long-range engagement limitations. While VantaBlast provided exceptional coverage for proximity and defensive flak engagements, there was a calculated absence of tools optimized for deep-space penetrative fire—especially against fortified targets or moving capital-scale enemies beyond missile lock range.

Using repurposed engineering cells once earmarked for asteroid-mining cannon prototypes, Serina greenlit the development of VektorLine to weaponize momentum itself. By exploiting the geological silence and magnetic stability of Polis Massa's crust, the subsidiary built its flagship coil-testing arrays underground—hidden and silent, just like the weapons they would forge.

VektorLine exists not just as a complement to VantaBlast's brute force, but as its counterpoint: the quiet barrel behind the throne. Its creation reflects Serina's deeper philosophy—that precision is power, and power, when exercised correctly, does not roar. It whispers. And it ends things.
