DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
Force Imbued/Lightsaber Resistance: The Entire Staff is imbued with the force which allows it to block lightsabers, and made it hard enough to be near impossible to break.

Spell Caster: The staff is the first test of mixing the Spirit Ichor based magic of the Nightsisters with the blood and rune based magic of the sith. This is accomplished by fueling sith runes with the energy drawn from ichor stored in the staff. By doing this the staff can be used to cast a collection of both sith and nightsister spells. Yet the spells are limited by the Ichor stored in the staff (see Ichor Storage). The spells that can be cast are: (OOC Note: Each of these spells only has an effect on a PC if the writer agrees to.)

Chant of Resurrection

Spell: "Choono slalem denni tay'lori olee-ay. Lucheno vadem klavlane. Blenay vedi nalem koreem. Blenay vedi nalem koreem. Villos susko kono lamal! Vlemon tagoo!"
Effect: Much alike the common spell used by the Nightsister, the spell can be used to make the dead walk again as undead warriors. Yet there are a few differences: The spell can only summon up to 12 undead at the same time, and those undead have to stay in a 20 meter radius for the spell to stay active on them.

Surge of the Brier

Spell: "Nuyak raka svera pras tave difi, Nu xuontai edoui anmuxuna stai kia finsezi" ("My hand reaches beyond the veil, I command those spirits here to stay")
Effect: A twisted version of the orginial spell of the sisters, made possible by sith runes that mimic the effects of force drain. Instead of simply granting command over plants, the spell can also be used to drain the essence from plants and animals and transform it into ichor to store inside the staff. This spell uses no ichor itself.

Aspect of the Storm

Spell: "Waytha ara quetha way. Waytha ara quetha way. Waytha ara quetha way. Waytha ara quetha way!"
Effect: A common Nightsister spell, able to call storms, including winds and lightning.

Plague

Spell: "Zo siundiz visita sulig pras. Zo siundiz visita sulig pras. Zo siundiz visita sulig pras. Zo siundiz visita sulig pras! ("A sickness called from beyond. A sickness called from beyond. A sickness called from beyond. A sickness called from beyond!)
Effect: Based upon the art of Force slow. Once cast the spell creates a green mist around the caster, that marks a field of force slow. The body functions of those affected will slow down to an extrem degree yet take up more energy than normally, similar to a sickness that drains the body. The effect wears of quickly.

Rift

Spell: "Fe've ir armijio mazo tolus, dotacij nun ana pro tave shiris iv tave guduma" ("Near and yet so far, grant me passage through the realm of the dead")
Effect: Opens a small rift into the Nether that can be traversed. In theory it works similar to teleportation, allowing the caster to move from on postion to another outside of the physical realm and therefore unable to be attacked during that movement. Yet the main difference between the rift and teleportation is that the rift is not a mean of instant transportation, only reducing the time in half that it would take to move so far. The limit of how far the spell can move the caster is 15 meters.

Taint

Spell: "Jena'tes gamli je'as tave tidtema iv tsrove, tave irus buti tik zo kots laikas" ("Darkness woven into the fabric of reality, the light is only a broken enemy")
Effect: A spell based version of Taint

Ichor Storage: The skull attached to the staff works as a storage for spirit ichor used to power the spells. When full the stored Ichor is enough to power up to 3 spells before having to be recharged.

Toxic Thorn: At the end of the staff is a metal thorn made to mirror the spell and poison of Abyss throwing Knifes.

Force Flail: The skull is also imbued with another, simple spell. Instead of simply being imbued with the force to be almost unbreakable, the spell adds kinetic force to the skull, amplifying the physical force applied by it when using it as a melee weapon.
Strengths:
  • Spirit Ichor: The spells cast with help of the staff only drain the Ichor stored in it, not touching the actual energy of the Caster
  • Melee weapon: The staff is also a powerful weapon in melee combat, making it a very versatile tool in combat
  • Poison: The thorn at the end of the staff, in typical fashion of Abyss weaponry, is imbued with poison, making it another small trick that can be pulled as a surprise in combat
Weaknesses :
  • Spell Limit: The staff is only able to cast 3 spells before the Ichor is depleted
  • Dark Taint: The staff gives of a dark side aura when used which can be easily sensed even by those without the gift of the force
  • Force Light: Made with not one, but to arts of the dark side the staff can be destroyed by force light very easily
DESCRIPTION
To make the dead rise again. That was the art that drew Darth Abyss, master of the arcane arts of the sith, towards the teachings of the Nightsisters. While there is a smiliar ability found in the teachings of the sith, Abyss was unhappy with the way it functioned, instead calling upon the wisdom that the Nightsister used to accomplish the same thing.

When the first test of mixing the flexbility of sith runes and blood magic with the ichor based magic of the sisters the sith lord began to build the staff, going further and further with how far this mix of two diffrent brands of darkness could be bend.

In the end the spells reached a point where they were meant to reach beyond the veil, a art common among the nightsisters, but not very widespread among the sith. Linked to the staff it has become both a powerful melee weapon and a powerful artifact to cast spells.
