Varis Nostrae was born on Dac (Mon Cala) but raised on Coruscant. Identified as a force sensitive when he was 3, he would be handed over to the Jedi as Tera Sinube’s padawan, from whom he learned to temper his individuality and recklessness.
On his first journey to Ilum, he would be handed a cyan kyber crystal. When at the temple, he would often be found training with his lightsaber or reading tales of famous Jedi in the archives. He even met Count Dooku, who stated that he was impressed with his skills with a lightsaber.
When he was 27, he would be promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight. With this new found freedom, he would travel across the galaxy to planets like Zeffo and Crait during the 30 years between his graduation and the Clone Wars. On his second journey to Ilum, he would be granted an amber kyber crystal to embed into his new curved hilt. He would master all forms of lightsaber combat with the exception of Form VII, with his preferred form being Form II, Makashi.
At the start of the Clone Wars, he would be one of the Jedi sent to Geonosis to rescue Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala; he would also be one of the few survivors. During the Clone Wars, he would be assigned to the 315th Legion. He would serve in many battles including Christophsis and Cato Neimodia after being appointed to the rank of Master. Halfway through the Clone Wars, he and the 315th would be sent to Lasan to fight the Separatists. Whilst on the planet, he would enter an ancient tomb of the Sith Lord of old, Derrisk Oz, in search of artefacts to turn the tide of the war.

Strengths: One of the best duellists known (on par with Yoda, Mace Windu and Count Dooku) and has the abilities of Force Echo and Shatterpoint. His individuality means that he can think outside of the box and his wisdom and intellect allows him to outsmart most of his opponents.
Weaknesses: His fear of failure and not being good enough along with his occasional recklessness. Repressing his feelings as a Jedi means that he has a lot of anger pent up in him which may cause him to snap at any moment.
