Nobody really thought that things would turn out as they did. Born on the planet of Centares to Loreck and Kedna Ardos, he was raised as an Imperial first and foremost. His father, a high-ranking member of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order and decorated naval officer, made sure that he was raised to love the Emperor and the Empire. His mother was a functionary in the local Imperial Government on Centares, yet, was never truly immersed in the Imperial ideology as much as her husband might have been.
Growing up the middle child of three, he was never really the most valued in the family. Overshadowed by the talents of his older brother and the pampering of his younger brother, it was never really assumed that anything particularly remarkable would come out of him. He'd show signs of force sensitivity, from a young age, but would decide to keep it a secret from his parents. He was sent to an Imperial Preparatory School on a far-off planet near the capital of Bastion, where they would attempt to mould him. He was also a member of the Sub-Adult Group, consistently attending meetings and rallies. But he was never really one to show love after witnessing a protest with the rest of his classmates, it changed his views.
Developing an apathy towards his environment, he would secretly read literature disseminated and smuggled in by the Rebel Alliance and the Centarian Resistance Movement once he returned. He would also wonder what was beyond his viewport and look to the stars and the wider Galaxy for inspiration in this endeavour. A wanderlust that would continue on as he aged. He was sent to an Academy for Young Imperials during his early tween where he would take this new found rebellious nature with him. An excellent student who devoured all literature that was put in front of him, basking in the surprising discontent of those around him. And at the age of fourteen, he would participate in a strike against the cruel Commandant of the Academy.
This strike was condemned and his father used connections to bring him back home, but investigation by COMPNOR put a wrench in the works. By this time, he was an established member of the Centarian Resistance Movement, in its student section and he would often stage protests against the Imperial Government. Eventually however, when the crackdown came, it was brutal and unrelenting. His contacts in the movement put him in contact with a group of smugglers who helped him escape Centares to GA Space. Without money and too many connections, he did menial jobs, eventually becoming integrated with them and becoming a key member of the crew after he reveal his force sensitivity. However, realising his fortunes did not lay with them, he made his way to GA Space, and joined the New Jedi Order.

After briefly leaving the NJO, he participated in the battle of free his homeworld, becoming well known amongst the Centarian people as a hero and liberator after assisting the Centarian Underground against Imperial forces.
