Intent: Personal Artifact of Mythos.
Development Thread: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/72083-the-depth-of-donovia-gr-dominion-for-donovia/

Manufacturer: Lord Mythos
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Lord Mythos
Modularity: No
Production: Production: Unique
Description: Deep in the core Donovia Lord Mythos used sith magic to create the crystal from the siphoned life force of the planet using a scroll of ancient text believed to be used to kill the life of a planet. The painstaking task almost cost him his life in the process yet what resulted from the ritual was an abomination to the force and life: Valthris.

While it did not kill the life of the planet it corrupted the force within it and caused a force wound in the core of the planet after the ritual was compete.

The artifact is a torrent of darkside energy that is boundless and uncontrollable by even the most seasoned and battle hardened sith lord, it enhances the use of dark side abilities not by making them stronger but by making them easier to use and less taxing.

The size of a nail and as fragile as glass, the crystal must be kept protected at all times, a small pebble that drops on it could crack it and destroy it. NOTE: Being of magic nature, the crystal once destroyed can never be remade or repaired.

The crystal also enhances some abilities naturally and passively with no concentration needed by the user.
Battle Precognition and Force Sense.
However, the crystal also makes it impossible for a force user to hide his or her signature in the force and furthermore making said force signature very visible and hostile and even visible at longer ranges than normal. In short, stealth is impossible while wielding the crystal.

The crystal is also a force of corruption, if at any time a light sided force user were to engage in physical contact with the artifact the result would be instant and noticeable: Loss of power in light sided abilities, desire and emotions of dark side nature, the desire to kill or even insanity. The crystal in the hands of a light sided force user could be deadly for said force user and the damage could even be permanent.

Prolonged use of the crystal by anyone, sith or otherwise entails certain side effects: Blurred vision, berserk rage (the confusion of friend and foe in the heat of battle) and most notably: Paranoia, fear of persecution and incessant uncontrollable bloodlust.

Primary Source:[SIZE=12.2222px] Canon precedent to see how it generally works (somewhat) and have an idea of how exactly the crystal exist and what to expect (somewhat more or less) : [/SIZE]http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nightsister_Force_crystal

[member="Bianca"] Yes mam! Other abilities are just easier to execute. Say you were once able to execute two blasts of Sith lighting without feeling the feedback of exhaustion, with the crystal you can execute three with the same ease you shot two without it.

This part somewhat bothers me and I feel needs clarification on some of the wording. When you state "coming into contact with" do you mean if the crystal was just there and a Light sided force user tried to grab it and use it. etc they would start to lose the light sided abilities. Or is this pertaining to if they became engaged in combat with you they would begin to lose light sided abilities? [member="Lord Mythos"]

[member="Spencer Jacobs"] You got it spence!

The light sided force user would need to come into physical contact with the crystal, not facing an opponent wielding the crystal. If say a jedi were to see the crystal and take it without encasing it in some sort of buffer and letting their body physically touch the crystal then the effect would come into play. The effects would begin with a loss of potency in light sided abilities (force light ect.) and would get gradually worse the more the crystal remains in physical contact with them.
