Valley of The Lost

Korriban - Valley of Dark Lords

Ice cold optics remained steady and diligent as thoughts of The Awoken remained on her thoughts...it had been several months since she decided the new course that her new family would take...the House of Truth was losing its traction and the House of Judgment needed more ample minds to preform the task they would be granted. But The Awoken was new...still developing. And as a result she had to remain patient and see it grow in time.

And as the woman wandered the desolated barren surface of Korriban those blue eyes scanned the ancient ruins of the Valley of Dark Lords with little more than amusement...dark energy pulsed and the force seemed to whisper through the very air. It amused the woman how such a force of raw power and importance to the Sith could fall and become nothing more but an abandoned wasteland...it was...saddening in a way. If sadness was an emotion the Ice Queen could feel...either way, the Silver Sanctum had done a rather masterful job of restoring the desolated Valley of Dark Lords...and while it was still a ruin, certain energies of the light side could be felt because of the enclave they had established. She had heard rumors of their Dominion of the planet. And while she did not care for the faction...or any faction. She respected their strength and resolve. And her being here was not an intention to seek hostilities...in fact, somewhere within the conscious of the woman. She rather enjoyed seeing them progress and had no desire to cause problems with them.

Still...she was here to seek something that had been lost...and she only hoped no one stood in her way. She did not want holocrons...ancient artifacts, or even power. She desired the truth...and no one would keep it from her. She respected the claims the Silver Sanctum made...and she would not seek what was rightfully theirs.

Her gaze flicked to that of her Daughter who stood by her side...Winters arms were crossed over her chest as she tapped a finger along the fabric of her biceps. It had been a while since she had done anything with her daughter and now that she had matured into a fine young woman Winter felt that they should...'bond' more. Especially since the girl insisted on joining The Queen on her hunt for truth...

"Be on your best behavior...this territory is not ours. Respect those who call this theirs and we can be done with this soon without qualms." Winter began, making it a point to not cause any trouble while they were there...seems some of her apprentices enjoyed stirring up drama during these little expeditions that turned things rather salty very quickly. Something Winter had no time for.

Screams erupted from within an old Sith tomb. Deep within only a dim green light glew. Scraps and dragging of clothes on the dusty floor echoed around. Suddenly there was a thud like noise and the screaming ceased. A metal fist unraveled into a hand and two cybernetic eyes lit up examining the humanoid who was just recently knocked unconscious. The humanoid was alive and in fine condition for the harvest. Standing up the Cyborg dropped the humanoid by the rest of the bodies unfortunate explorers.

" For the harvest." he said coldly and walked away. Stones moved against his might as he pushed a door shut with his enhanced strength. Only few more victims before materials were required to begin his plans and so Durza lumbered about in the darkness of the tomb searching.

The contrasting natures of the place and the hybrid Princess composed a strange symphony of energies in the air. The blazing heat of the arid environment challenged the cold, violet gaze of the young woman to try and discern the dark and ominous secrets that lay hidden under rocks, sand and ruins. It was the first time the Voidseer had visited Korriban but she was familiarized with part of its history...and of its potential. The Dark-side of the living Force was imprinted in the hot air of the Valley of the Dark Lords. It imbued in the young Sovereign a feeling of respect, of admiration. The dead that called the Valley their resting place had done memorable thing. Atrocious things, but memorable too.

She had come here accompanying her mother, the [member="Queen Sovereign"] . And for what she had been informed they were here today seeking something that had no price but was still one of the most valuable assets one could possess. They were here to try to shed light upon obscure matters. To discover the truth. Iceis felt honored to aiding in such an important task for them and for The Awoken alongside her birth-giver.

The Princess stood next to the Queen, her pose straight and gracious and her face expressionless. A never-melting work of ice in the scorching heat of Korriban. Her eyes traveled through the cracked walls and fallen pillars, the decayed temples and sand covered stones. The place was as magnificent as it was intimidating. And then her gaze stopped to meet her only parent. Iceis nodded once, a movement calm and sure.

"I'll do as you say, Mother" The white haired Princess reassured. She knew very well that Korriban was currently under the influence of a faction by the name of Silver Sanctum, a Light-sided faction. It was slightly ironic but Iceis thought it could also prove beneficial. She did not like the binary opposition that the Dark and the Light represented, maybe the presence of Silver Sanctum in Korriban would eventually even it out. But for now, the Sovereign princess kept her attention focused on her current goal and payed attention to any orders from her Mother.

Winter observed as her offspring agreed to the terms of their little quest...and as her blue eyes flared with color Winter slowly gave a brief nod of approval before directing her attention back to the ruins ahead of her...The Queen was almost certain that at some point she may meet resistance. And if for some reason they did not, Winter would be genuinely surprised. She always had a tendency to expect the unexpected and as a result of such a mind set it was rare for someone to get the upper hand on the woman. Still, she found herself pleased that they were not being disturbed right off the bat.

Leaving it at that, Winter steadily moved forward towards the towering mountains in the distance as large stone pillars laid splayed along the surface of the valley. Her mind pulsing with a certain hunger that she could not fully understand.

Crossing her arms over one another the woman kept them locked behind her back at the wrist as if she were in cuffs...her posture slightly slouched as she slumped through the valley with an odd sense of casual disinterest. And as those bright vibrant eyes stayed fixed on those towering mountains in the far distance, she knew that in the end...this would all be worth it.
