BIOGRAPHY:
Vaela was born into a harsh, upper class family. Her 'purpose' was to be married off to another wealthy family to further secure her parent's position in society. She had two older brothers - Besos, who conformed with their parents plans of arranged marriages, and Jab, who rebelled and escaped to the Galaxy.Jab was Vaela's favourite brother, and she developed a similar nature to him. They would cause mischief together, sneak out, and talk of running away to have adventure in the Galaxy. Vaela was thirteen when Jab left after an argument with their parents, and it devastated her. His absence fueled her desire to follow in Jab's footsteps. When he returned for the first time, their father shunned him. Vaela discovered he was staying nearby, and would sneak out to visit her brother. He would tell her all the stories of his adventures so far, which fascinated her deeply. She begged Jab to take her with him when he left again, but he denied her request - it was too dangerous for such a young girl, but he vowed to return and begin to train her with all the knowledge he acquired.
And so it was - for five years, Jab would return periodically and teach Vaela all that he knew. He promised on her eighteenth birthday she could join him in the Galaxy. He had been taking work as an assassin/bounty hunter, and so he taught Vaela combat, stealth, and survival training. She became highly skilled by his experience.
Vaela was due to be married just after she had turned eighteen, and so Jab told her that he would return a week before and take her with him. But he never returned. Desperate to escape her shackles, Vaela hid aboard a cargo ship headed to Nar Shaddaa.
It was on the Smugglers Moon that she began to take low profile assassinations. She had a knack for the work, and soon made her way up the ranks onto high profile targets. She began killing for crimelords, and then killing the crimelords themselves in gang wars. Other jobs included high profile visitors, corrupt politicians and military personnel. She remained neutral in all her work - no matter if the target deserved death. Often she would pose as the beautiful arm candy, and end their life unsuspectingly. She developed many disguises and personalities.
After four years, Nar Shaddaa began to grate on her, and so she took off to the Galaxy. For the next three years, her life was nomadic - she would move from planet to planet taking jobs hoping to find her brother along the way.
