INVENTORY:
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS: He is a firm believer in the Way of the Mandalore. He believes in loyalty, honor, and perseverance. He will never remove his helmet in front of another, and he will always do his utmost to save the young and defenseless. His past with the Jedi have also given him insight into their ways, but they clash with his Way. That tumultuous relationship, along with his experiences after the destruction of the Jedi Enclave he called home, have made him aggressively hateful to all Sith aligned sentients.
STRENGTHS:
WEAKNESSES:
BIOGRAPHY: At the age of six, some years after the Sith occupation of Mandalore, Saren was taken as a Jedi youngling after a mining accident on his home - the moon Concordia - revealed his Force sensitivity. Due to the recency of the occupation, trust in Force users was at an all-time low, so he was sent partially just to get someone like him off-world. He spent years under their tutelage, his upbringing conflicting with their ways. When they preached detachment, he believed in loyalty. Despite this, he was able to develop his skills and became an accomplished lightsaber duelist among his peers. He had begun his dedicated training as a Padawan when a battle between the Jedi Order and the Sith destroyed the Enclave he called home. He was able to survive by going underground as a solo bounty hunter under an assumed name - Del Pill'en. He had to mute his connection to the Force to avoid capture, a process that still affects his abilities into the present. During these years, he found his way back to his people: a covert in the Outer Rim territories. There, he re-swore himself to the Way of the Mandalore and earned back each piece of Beskar he wears by undergoing rigorous training and accepting task after task. Despite it being the weapon of an ancient enemy, he was allowed to keep his lightsaber, as it had been earned and forged honorably. After the end of the Sith occupation and the rise of the Mandalorian Empire, Saren was called to return to his homeland along with others like Children of the Watch. There, he found acceptance from Mand'alor the Iron, and began to forge his place among his people - Force and all.

STRENGTHS:
- He has a connection to the Force and is able to use it to great effectiveness.
- His training as a Mandalorian has made him a skillful combatant in both hand-to-hand and ranged fighting.
- He is a skilled mechanic, able to tend to both droids and starships.
WEAKNESSES:
- His split life between Jedi training and the Mandalorian Way have left him less adept at both than anyone who has dedicated their life to a single path. Eg, not as skilled in the Force as a Jedi Knight, nor as skilled in combat as a lifelong Mandalorian warrior.
- He is not personable, having spent much of his life in isolation. He is, thereby, typically unable to talk his way out of hostile situations.
- He is immediately hostile to those with a Sith past if he knows about it. It will take heavy convincing to talk him down from trying to cut them down.
