Character Vadim Abnett

Name: Vadim Abnett
Age: 29
Species: Human
Force Sensitive: Yes
Alignment: Dark
Rank: Sith Assassin

Appearance:

A pale, wiry human with skin stretched tightly around angular features, Vadim moves with unsettling fluidity. His body is laced with blackened durasteel armor grafted directly into his skin and bone, leaving him in a permanent state of discomfort he seems to enjoy. Veins of red Sith alchemy glow beneath the surface, especially during heightened emotion. His right arm and left hand is cybernetic, ending in retractable claws that can slice through bone and armour alike with a good swing behind them. His feet are cybernetic with retractable claws, much like his hands. His right eye burns bright amber, yet wide and childlike when excited, while his left eye has been replaced with red cybernetic one. A skeletal grin is nearly always fixed on his face. He wears black robes with red accents, along with a mask and hood. He tore off the sleaves of his robes because he wished to 'show off his upgrades'. His left eye glows through his mask.

Weapons:

Lightsaber: A curved-hilt saber with a crackling, unstable red blade, forged from a cracked kyber crystal.

Cybernetic Claws: His hands feature retractable, sharpened talons made of alchemized phrik. They can pierce armour and are often used in close combat or ritual executions.

Hidden Throwing Blades: Concealed in his boots and forearm, used as distractions or for torment.

Personality:

Sadistic, playful, and wholly unhinged. Vadim is a man-child with the power and cruelty of a seasoned Sith. He finds glee in suffering, often giggling during battle or reciting twisted Sith nursery rhymes as he mutilates his victims. He treats his enemies as toys, his allies as lesser toys, and his missions as games. While autonomous and capable of independent action, he is obedient to the Sith above him — not out of loyalty, but because they consistently provide him with “new toys to break."

He collects body parts or relics from victims, displaying them in macabre fashion aboard his personal vessel. His quarters are a shrine of grotesque trophies, with one crucified “favorite toy” (Lady Starfall) positioned above his bed, whom he still speaks to nightly as if she were alive.

Force Abilities:

Force Lightning

Force Choke

Force Crush

Force Scream

Force Fury

Force Stasis

Telekinesis

Force Augmentation

Psychometry

Breath Control

Lightsaber Forms:

Form V (Djem So): Used with overwhelming, brute-force strikes.

Form VII (Juyo): Applied in a feral, chaotic rhythm to overwhelm.

Hybrid Style: He shifts fluidly between them, making his offense unpredictable.

Strengths:

Unorthodox unpredictability in combat.

Immense raw power, both physically and in the Force.

Psychological warfare, he unnerves, distracts, and manipulates enemies.

High pain tolerance, allowing him to fight through injuries most Sith would falter under.

Weaknesses:

Mental instability makes him volatile and at times distracted.

Tactical arrogance—he prioritizes “fun” over strategic efficiency.

Obsession with his “toys” can lead to fixation or unnecessary risk.

Insulated worldview—he doesn't consider betrayal because he wouldn’t betray, which could be exploited.

Background:

Vadim was found as a child on a ruined Outer Rim world—abandoned, surrounded by the corpses of raiders he had accidentally butchered through an uncontrolled Force outburst. The Sith took him in and, once trained, placed him under experimentation.

He spent weeks being subjected to torturous surgeries and rituals until he came out as he is now. With his new body, he survived and thrived, his mind warping into something that mixed Sith doctrine with infantile sadism.
