Description: The gunship was designed to help protect the drop ships, by making strafing runs against enemy targets. Though this did have a small disadvatage of not having turreted weapons, so they would have point the ship towards it and then blast hell out of it. This was however highly effective against slow ground tragets or bigger and slower ships, though the fast fighters and interceptors would be all over them. As they can out maneuver it, and get easily on to it's blind spots. Though due to its ion and laser cannons, that work in tandem, it would disrupt shields and increase the effective the repeating lasers and photon torpedoes would have on the hull, or armour palting of anything it did hit.
The ship was protected to some extent from Ion or emp damage, though direct hits, where still direct hits.
