While there is a “prime” Uol, the original Pulra, the dozens of individuals of the species that have come to form the colony all share the same mind as their progenitor: allowing for Uol to split themselves into many smaller Pulra if the need is required
The Melding
With the rarity of Pulra in the known Galaxy, an expectantly not well known feature of Pulra is their ability to be “biological prosthetics” melding with another species as though it were a Pulra in a colony, forming limbs or weapons: but more importantly in Uol’s case, copying the knowledge and history that lays within their minds.

Replaceability
If one of the Pulra that makes up Uol is destroyed beyond repair, the only way to get that piece of their body replaced is to return to their Homeworld and “acquire” another individual for the metaphorical hive
Hungry of Knowledge
Ultimately, Uol craves knowledge and wider understanding of the Galaxy: no matter the cost, and the ultimate goal of whatever Uol sets themself upon, A powerful obsession.

Uol is ultimately not very knowledgeable about the Galaxy, this ignorance and naivety when combined with the boundless curiosity has made the Pulra rather “accident” prone
APPEARANCE:
When not molding into a new person, Uol properly looks like a multi-colored mass of greens, pinks, and fleshy browns: a gelatinous mass that vaguely shapes itself to look like a humanoid blob
BIOGRAPHY:
Pulra are an oddity within the Galaxy, and the being known as Uol is no exception to that rule. One of the many Pulra that inhabit their homeworld of Kuras III, Uol’s early history is something rarely discussed and rarely given the time of day to even be considered important. Kuras III is a plain world, peaceful to an extent, rarely interfered with and holding little of major value. In summary, it was boring. And Uol had their mind set to different things, Uol had ambition, and a curiosity of the wider Galaxy that was uncontainable.
And the Galaxy shined down upon the Pulra and it’s growing colony of comrades, while few stuck around Kuras III for long: one gaggle of smugglers had made the mistake of deciding to camp out on Uol’s homeworld. Finally, an opportunity had presented itself: already a predator, Uol stalked the smugglers and slowly consumed them, absorbing their memories and knowledge for themselves, the path had now been laid for Uol to leave Kuras III and reach out to the wider Galaxy, these brief stolen images filling the Pulras with even greater resolve. But unfortunately, money was indeed an object in the quest of the shapeshifter and so with the employment history of their prey in hand, Uol dove head first into the underworld, marketing their skills in espionage and information wherever possible and to whomever possible: all fueling that same singular desire to see, and know about, the Galaxy at whatever the cost may be.
