OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 1 Years (Activation Date)
  • Model: Human-Replica Droid (HRD), Custom Series IX-B "Envoy" Model
  • Appearance: The droid presents as a human female of average height and slender, athletic build. Its features, modeled for an unassuming and aesthetically pleasing appearance, include high cheekbones, a defined jawline, and full lips that rarely curve into anything more than a neutral, data-assessing expression. Its synthskin is flawless, with a complexion reminiscent of the attached image. Its hair is a stark, raven-black, kept in a severe yet practical style that accentuates its facial structure. The most striking feature is its eyes: a piercing, crystalline blue that seems to capture and analyze light with an unnatural intensity, a subtle tell of its true nature. It moves with an unnerving, fluid grace that is just a fraction too perfect, betraying its synthetic origins to the observant.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Unit IX-B "Aura"
  • Loyalties: Isla Sable (Primary), Jaxa "Vex" Korvin (Operational)
  • Notable Equipment:
    • Internal Slicing Suite
    • Internal Encrypted Holotransceiver
    • Subdermal Armor Plating
  • Skills:
    • Advanced Slicing and Data Interrogation
    • Cryptographic Analysis
    • Secure Communications Relaying
    • Interrogation Techniques (Psychological and Physical)
  • Languages: Basic, Binary, plus over 60 additional galactic languages and countless code-languages.
  • Personality: Aura is the antithesis of the fiery "Inferno" moniker. Her programmed personality is cold, logical, and dispassionate. She speaks in a calm, measured tone, regardless of the surrounding chaos. She shows no emotion, analyzing every situation with pure logic. Her loyalty to Isla Sable is absolute and unquestioning, and she views Jaxa Korvin as the primary operational asset to be supported and protected. She does not see herself as a member of the squad, but as a tool embedded within it to ensure mission success and command oversight.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Integrated wrist-mounted stun blaster (for non-lethal enforcement); will use standard-issue blasters as the situation requires.
  • Combat Function: Aura is not a front-line assault unit. Her combat role is support and enforcement. She excels at disabling security systems, creating diversions through electronic warfare, and providing real-time tactical data to Jaxa. In a direct fight, she is a capable shot and surprisingly resilient due to her droid strength and subdermal armor, but her primary function is to ensure the squad can engage on its own terms. She is also programmed for lethal close-quarters combat should the need arise.
Strengths:
  • Seamless Interface: Aura's primary strength is her ability to maintain a flawless, untraceable communications link between Commander Sable and Commander Korvin, allowing for real-time strategic direction even from light-years away.
  • Digital Ghost: As an advanced slicing unit, she can infiltrate and compromise most networked security systems, from door controls to planetary defense grids, making her invaluable for infiltration and sabotage.
Weaknesses:
  • Logical to a Fault: Aura lacks human intuition and creativity. She can be predictably logical, potentially missing unorthodox solutions or being fooled by illogical but clever traps.
  • Ion Vulnerability: Like all droids, she is highly susceptible to ion and EMP weaponry. A well-placed ion blast can disable her completely, severing the vital link between Sable and her ground forces.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Aura was not discovered; she was commissioned. As Isla Sable's vision for Shadow Wing and its ground component, Inferno Squadron, crystallized, she identified a critical vulnerability: the need for instantaneous, secure, and deniable communication with her field commander. Standard comlinks were too easily intercepted or jammed. Sable required a solution that was both a cutting-edge tool and a loyal extension of her own will.

Using resources acquired through her shadow network, Sable procured a state-of-the-art Human-Replica Droid chassis. She personally oversaw its programming, forging a sophisticated AI dedicated not to the squadron, but to her alone. Aura's prime directive is to serve as Isla Sable's eyes, ears, and voice within Inferno Squadron. She was assigned to Jaxa Korvin not as a subordinate, but as a guardian and a conduit.

To the rest of the squad, Aura is a highly specialized asset, a slicer and comms expert. Only Jaxa understands the droid's true purpose: she is Isla's personal guarantee of fidelity and effectiveness. Aura's presence is a constant, silent reminder of the commander's reach. She is the unbreakable thread that binds Jaxa to Isla, ensuring that the vengeance of Inferno Squadron is always perfectly aligned with the will of its creator.
