Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Miss Blonde was a business woman and having participated in a GrayDust auction she had started chatting with the CEO online and found out that he was quite the practitioner of the force. And it just so happened so was she, and it seemed best for the two to discuss business and get to know one another over a little project. And this project of course was simple, twin swords that would act as a weapon for the light. However lately Miss Blonde's soul was far from clean, it was tainted with murder, theft, and other immoral activities in the name of success and money. But that didn't mean she couldn't draw and look into the light, she'd just need a little help.

So on the white sandy beaches of Relovian the woman waited around with a few items in front of her and a small structure behind her. It was an old fashioned hut and inside it was a mobile smithing operation with everything needed to craft a sword. Sitting beneath a palm tree wearing a red sundress, large straw hat, and glasses the woman held a straw between her lipstick painted lips as she drank some form of tropical drink.

Beside her was a blanket and on it were a few bars of Durasteel, a bar of phrik, and two planks wood that thrummed with the lightside of the force. Drinking her little piña colada the woman hummed a tune to herself and soon sang a bit.

"I'm trying to keep my faith, but I'm asking for more~" She sang and continued to hum as she waited.

Gray had been making more connections lately due to the auctions he had held. He had a little pile of credits too thanks to it and stuff than he had ever owned before. If he had started living with his fiance, he wouldn't have had room for it all actually. One of the people he had made contact with and someone who had contributed to his recent security was [member="Miss Blonde"]. They had been talking online lately and gotten to know each other a bit. What he didn't expect was for her to be a force user like himself. It seemed like ever since he became aware of his own sensitivity and started to learn, force users began to pop up out of the woodwork everywhere. That didn't matter though, because there was some business to take care of with her.

Gray landed on the planet and went to the location they were suppose to met up at. He saw her lounging under the tree so he went that way. He was wearing a light silk shirt colored gray, a pair of tan shorts, and leather sandals on his feet. His blaster pistol was strapped to his right leg with his light saber hilt hung next to it. It was just something he always did out of sentiment towards the items. He came up to her and noticed what she was wearing. He smiled and whistled at her. He said after, " So I got called out here to see a stunning beauty it seems. Today is a great day."

Sipping at her pina colada the woman looked over and watched Gray's ship land from afar, he stepped out and soon after and began to walk towards her. He wore an outfit that accented his muscular form and he was certainly attractive, now Miss Blonde was indeed aware that the man was getting married to one of her employees, and it was nice to meet the face behind the name. The woman sipped her drink dry with a sucking noise from the straw as she dipped her sunglasses down to check the man out. What? She was married, not dead.

"Great day indeed, and I figured it was the appropriate location for what we'd be doing." Miss Blonde pushed her glasses back up then ushered her arm out towards the materials.

"I'm assuming you know how to work a smith? Well regardless I'll be sure to walk you through this. Please, sit." Miss Blonde scooted her way atop the blanket and tapped her fingers against the Durasteel ingots.

The woman smiled and would go over what was going to happen. This was a two birds one stone meeting after all.

"I'm going to teach you how to make a force imbued weapon. And this will be my gift to you and Star, and afterwards we can talk business." it was time to get into the meat and potatoes of this little project.

Gray watched her eyeing him over and was not entirely sure what to do about it. His first thought and obvious action was to just let her take him all in. He kept on smiling to her as she got into what was going on. He watched her tap the metal ingots and raised a brow slightly. He had a little experience with smithing now, so he might be able to do something not terrible. She did have his interest though, so he said, " Oh? Well you do have my attention. What is it we are doing here exactly pretty lady? Going to go into the hut and get all hot and sweaty while we pound away?" He knew it sounded bad, but he couldn't help himself. Old habits died hard, especially ones like these.

Miss Blonde let out a cute laugh at the man's joke, and it was quite funny. After her little laugh she sighed afterwards and smiled, the guy was certainly funny and attractive which was hard to find in a man. She was the type of man a younger Miss Blonde would of snatched up, used, then told to get the kark out of her apartment the next day. But that was a younger woman and a husband and kids will change your perspective on life.

"When you phrase it like that, then I suppose so. But no I'm afraid this will be much less fun than the horizontal monster mash." Picking up the Durasteel ingots the woman placed them all in the center of the blanket then closed her eyes as she sat cross legged in a meditative position.

Close your eyes, become the void. Feel my presence and open your mind to me, and I shall do the same. Become one with the force and my voice, drift away and be all.

The voice of Miss Blonde echoed in Gray's head giving him instructions to become one with the force. To let go and link minds with her and simply become two souls that step into the light and see everything, hear everything, and feel everything in their true form. For what they really are, an astral form an experience that was completely out of body.

Gray was pleased to see she didn't take offense to his flirty joking. He was engaged to the love of his life so while he might still be flirty, he was not going to do anything more than that. He heard her voice in his head and did as she asked. It was not the first time he had experienced telepathy after all, so it did not catch him by surprise as it might have others. He got sat down cross legged in the sand and rested his arms on his knees. He closed his eyes as he dropped his head and was swiftly one with the force. He did this on a regular basis, so he was use to dropping into it. He focused on her and her voice, opening up his mind to her. He was not sure entirely what they would be doing, but he was wanting to see what it was. He was ready for whatever it was she needed him for now.

Gray could see everything as it was. No lies, no filters, no glamor, all he could see was the void with the truth within it. Standing across from him a woman in flowing tattered white and red robes appeared to him. She was an angel. Her wings were tattered and broken, feathers fluttered down, and her clothes were torn and stained with blood. In her hand she held a sword of fire. Her face was different than Miss Blonde's it was less curved more straight with various shifts in features. In this existence she was no longer Miss Blonde, she was Patricia Susan Garter, fallen guardian angel and protector of the innocent.

"Hello Gray." The woman said in a completely different tone of voice.

"Do not fear me. This is where we open ourselves to the force. I want you to feel the durasteel ingots in front of us. I want you take your force signature and work it like a ball of clay, shrink it down and join me here in the void." Patricia said with a soft smile.

The angel began to do the same shrinking her force signature, letting her aura tone itself down to what could be compared to a golf ball. The woman would walk Gray through the process as her ethereal body began to fade slightly as she worked the signature down.

Gray might not have been surprised earlier by the telepathy, but he was surprised by this image he saw before him now. He was not sure what to think of it actually at all. It was completely beyond his previous experiences, but that did not matter right now. What mattered was that he needed to do as she had asked of him to do. He began to focus on pushing his force signature down as she was doing. It was not going so smoothly right now though. His ball of force was constantly spiking away to expand itself back out as he tried to suppress it. It fought back with him as hard as he tried to fight it, but he could tell that was not working. It was not reacting the way that her force signature was reacting to her efforts. He needed to change things up then.

Gray stopped fighting with the force signature and instead let it expand back out. After it had settled itself back out, he began to try to converse with it. He tried not to force the change but to convince it to change its size. It did not work well at first but soon enough it began to shrink itself down. It slowly did so at first, but began to pick up its speed until it was at the right size it needed to be at. When he got it there and was able to keep it that size, he said through the force, " Alright, I think I got it. What do I need to do next?"

With her signature worked down to as small as she could get it the woman watched the man struggle to force his into submission. But he quickly learned that to achieve this you weren't going to apply muscle, it took a delicate hand, focus, and cooperation with the astral. Once it was down Patricia's voice would resonate to the man as she extended out to the force. The Durasteel ingots in the real world would float up into the air between them along with the single phrik ore.

"Look at the ingots." Miss Blonde's blue eyes would open into a pure whiteness and the image of the ingots would cast forth into the void.

"Look at the phrik ingot and see its molecular structure, what makes it what it is. Lightsaber resistant, light, everything that makes it what it is. See its structure, understand it and make it so. Now look to the Durasteel's structure. Reach into them with the force and rearrange them to match the phrik. We are not creating phrik we are simply giving Durasteel the properties of the phrik." The angel said with her resonating voice.

Her hand reached out and she began to change the atoms and molecules of some of the Durateel ingots. She matched that of the phrik and would allow the metals to become lighter and energy resistant. It was a draining process but she held tight and would allow Gray to help her.

Gray watched and listened to everything she had to say to him. He followed suit with her actions trying to mimic what she was doing. As he mimicked her, he began to understand what it was she was saying. It was about adapting instead of directly changing, or at least it was to him. He began to do his best to work the durasteel and phrik together, as if they were the same yet still different. He gave it his best effort to do as she was doing, even though he knew he couldn't keep up with this being his first time to do it. He found himself enjoying the act of it. It was oddly soothing even if it was difficult. It sort of reminded him of the sensation of working out your muscles to create a new object, only it was not his muscles being worked out here.

With the task of altering the molecular structure of the ingots done Patricia looked over to Gray in her true form and gave a soft and gentle smile. The ingots were now altered and they could move on to the next step which would be a lot more simple and easy. She'd show him how it was done and make it simple and easy.

"Now feel around the ingots, feel the air, the electrons, the magnetic field that it emits, take that and reverse the metal's magnetic polarity and this will cause the metal to be able to deflect blaster bolts." Patricia said as she extended her arms out.

Taking half the ingots she enhanced images through the void until the magnetic lines of the ingots could be seen clearly. Using the force and exerting her will the woman twisted the lines of the Durateel until the polarity of its field was flipped upside down. This would allow the magnetic casing around a blaster bolt to deflect off of it and go back to whoever it was who sent it.

It was a simple task and much less difficult than altering the compositions of atoms and molecules through the force.

Gray was glad to see the job with the metals was completed. It had been very complex and involved at every step. The act of changing the composition of a metal was so much more of a magic than a science, and he was still not use to it all with it being his first time. He was sure to memorize the process in case he ever wanted to do this again. He heard her speak and saw her smile to him through the force to him. It still caught him off guard to see it happen, it was so new and unusual for him. He was already enjoying this little meeting of their's already.

Gray watched as she moved onto the next step. It was just as amazing as the work with the ingots earlier. He could not only see the reversal of the polarity on the metal, but feel it becoming reversed as well. He watched the entire process through to its completion and then began to mimic it as best he could. He did not worry about making an image of the magnetic flow of the metal, instead he just relied upon the feeling of it. He began to work it as she had before until he felt it suddenly flip over on itself. He inspected it as well as the one before her and could not find a difference in them. He was glad because that meant he had done it correctly. He said through the force, " Alright, done. What will we do next? Shape the metal into a shield or sword or cup?"

"Yes, you'd be correct." With a flash of light everything vanished and soon they were back in the real world.

Time had flown by from within the void, where the sun was barely peaking noon when they had started the moon was out and the stars filled the sky like an ocean of light. The waves gently flowed onto the shore and Miss Blonde nodded her head at Gray before standing up and levitating the ingots in her hand.

Walking towards the hut Miss Blonde set the ingots down and would wait for Gray to follow her into the small hut. Their job was not yet done and there was still another step to do that involved the force.

"Go wash up if you want! Or you can come in and I'll show you how to work a smith! Either way I'll have the swords ready in two hours so we can begin the last step!" Miss Blonde said from within the tent.

Gray opened his eyes back up after they had finished. A lot of time had passed since when he had first closed his eyes. He remembered the sun being out at about the point that the moon was at now. It could almost cause you to get a sense of vertigo and messed with your sense of time. He took a moment to get his senses back to him as she headed off to the hut. He slowly stood up and found his legs had fallen asleep on him, which had not happened in some time. He needed to wake them up before he could be reliable for anything. It took a bit but he finally got his legs back to some sense of normalcy. After they were, he headed towards the hut.

Gray came into the building and looked over at Miss Blonde. He said as he watched her from just within the doorway, " Well it is dark out and this hut is pretty small. What is it we will be doing in here? Do say it will be fun, because after waking up my legs from how badly fallen asleep they were. So what is all of this we have been doing and will be doing? I haven't ever done this or heard about this before. It is interesting." He smiled to her as he waited for her reply. It felt weird to be using his own voice after everything earlier.

The hut had a pretty sweet set up for black smithing and forging, it had a few different machines for shaping and crafting all while staying within a little less than ten meters. The woman had already started the process of crafting the ingots and melting them down, she was absolutely exhausted but the process couldn't wait.

"Just relax, get a bit of rest actually. I'll be along shortly so we can finish." Miss Blonde said with a tired little smile and nod.

A good two hours passed and miss blonde forged the two twin swords. She crafted each one perfectly despite how tired she was. Each blade hummed with light amount of energies and Miss Blonde was wrapping up the process of carving the light side based wood to create their hilt grips. After another few minutes the woman walked out with the two blades into the night sky. It was a fairly standard forging process and now it was time to do the last step.

Miss Blonde placed the twin blades down into the sand and looked over to Gray before sitting down and wiping her red and flushed face. The cool night air relaxed her and after a few moments she spoke.

"Now we're going to meditate upon the blades. I want you to think of everything that makes you happy. Everything you love, your fiancé, your family, everything good in this galaxy. And I want you to channel all these feelings of light and love into the blade." sitting down the woman had each sword sticking straight up.

Extending her arms the woman would reach out to let Gray know that he was to hold her hands and let the swords be imbued with power between them. Two people coming together to create something to banish the darkness and bring forth the light.

Gray staid out of the way and just watched her go to work. She didn't seem to want or need his help during the smelting, shaping, and re-shaping of the blades. He was feeling tired, but could tell that he wasn't as far gone in that area as she was, especially after spending time hammering away at metal. He had learned the hardest part of which was not the actual hitting of the metal as hard as one could, but the repeated controlled hits all beating against your own arm as roughly as it did the metal. He kept watching her wishing he had picked up that trick of sharing one's energy through the force from some of the people he had seen do it. He would really need to learn that for times like this.

After two hours of actively watching her, the resilient woman was finally ready for the last step of the process. Gray followed her out of the hut and saw her put the blades into the sand, which was odd at first but soon became obvious why. He sat across from her and took her hands as she had silently directed for him to. He closed his eyes as she spoke and began to do as she asked. He focused on the things that mad him the happiest in life. He thought about his fiance first, being the happiest thing is his life. Next he thought about the new family he had made recently. He thought about the new friends he had made. All of the things he had never had growing up or had lost yet regained. He thought about all of the new things he had come to learn about himself, his family, and his heritage. So many good things had happened to him lately, but he needed to actively fight against the bad as they also tried to surface. He continued to do this as he waited for her instruction of when they were done.

Miss Blonde settled into her spot as her hands joined with Gray, and she could see into him. She could see his happiness and his family, and he would see hers. Her husband, her four kids, her sister, and the moments they spent together. Every night of cuddling on the couch running her fingers through each other's hair, every night of love and passion of two souls becoming one in marriage, it was pure unrefined happiness that consisted of raw emotion and love. But it was more than just their combined happiness there was more to it that laced it's being.

Faith. Faith that there was going to be a better tomorrow. Faith that she wouldn't need to kill anyone anymore, that her pain and feelings of regret would be healed. Faith in believing that she could make a difference in destroying the darkness from herself and from the people of the galaxy to keep it from destroying families and homes. To deliver them serenity, peace, and loving that even the darkest of lords didn't know that they needed.

Focusing in with everything she had left she took those feelings of love and faith and pushed them forward into the blades. She channeled them forward and would start to mumble words in silent prayer. The force flowed through her words and laced them with power. Words that flowed from the light to ward the darkness.

Gray felt everything good for her, as she felt of all of his as well. His deep rooted love for his kith and kin that went beyond just hid Mandalorian blood. It was part of who he was, it was what kept him going. It was what brought him back from the brink of becoming the bloody version of himself that he still saw in his dreams at times. It was what kept him going in the midst of battles when things looked dire. It was what gave his a reason to show mercy to others. It was what kept him calm. All of this flew into their work.

Gray's faith was in his connections, his bonds. It was in a strength beyond his own. It was in those around him giving their strength to his own, and in turn his strength to them. It was much as the force connected everyone and offered them strength. He pumped his faith, his will, his strength into the blades. He wanted to aid in their creation and see how things went. He felt he needed to do this, to offer a part of who he was for these blades. It was not a part he was losing though, but rather a part he was sharing. It was something he could never lose, which meant he could give it to everyone he came across. He just kept this up as he waited for the signal that they were done.

Patricia keeping her eyes closed continued to mediate onto the blades, she put her strength and love into the blades and soon it was almost over. Dawn. The literal and symbolic meaning of rebirth. When everything turns dark then the light returns bringing a new day with new possibilities. When the light came over the blades they shined with a supernatural glow to them and all that love, faith, and belief was sealed within. And from the light of the new dawn the swords began to hum with power thrumming from their entire being.

Patricia could feel it from there, she could feel all those calming feelings that were poured into the blade and it felt wonderful to bask in the light of the sun and the force. The woman opened her eyes slowly and looked at the twin swords before doing her best to stand. But sadly that wasn't going to happen. On shaking legs the woman fell down and was simply too tired to do anything. She couldn't move, the creation of the swords had taken so much out of her. She was weak, and while she was going to be ok she needed rest.

Leaning against a palm tree the woman gave Gray a thumbs up and then looked back to the swords that had been completed.

"You did good, kid." Miss Blonde said with a heavy cough.

"Don't worry about me. Pick one up, give her a shot." Miss Blonde let her arms fall to her side as she rested there against the tree.

Gray felt the warmth of the dawning sun bring life back to his skin, and could feel the warmth of the force from the twin blades bring life back to his heart. He felt it from where he sat pouring over him, through him. He just felt, calm. He had no other way to describe it other than completely calm and content. He felt the same way he did when he was with his fiance, his family, and his friends in the places he thought of as home. It was the best he had ever felt or could feel for him.

Gray stood up as they were finished. He was tired, but his legs were still solid beneath him. He was use to working in fatigued conditions after all. As he got up and started to move, he could feel his muscles crying out for rest. Whatever it was she had taught him here, it was taxing. He would need to remember that for the next time he did this, if he ever got the chance to do it again. He walked over towards her to check to see how she was doing, and could see she was in worse condition than he was in. This technique really did tax you bad, and she had gotten to worst of it after having done to majority of the work.

Gray nodded to her when she spoke. He started to move towards the blades, but then got a different idea in his head. He drew his blaster out of it's holster and shifted it over to his left hand. After he did, he pulled Whisper out of it's hook. He activated the saber's dark blue blade and held it up in a defensive posture in front of him. He then aimed and shot a single shot at the two blades they had just made. As the shot flew towards them, it was deflected straight back towards him. He blocked the shot and sent it to the ground far off to the side of him and away from her. He whistled as he saw it happen. He said as he deactivated his saber and put it back, " Impressive. These things are amazing. I'd love to have one of those things for myself. Guess I will need to try to make one for myself one day." He holstered his pistol as he spoke then walked over to her. He offered a hand down to her to try and help her up. He said with a smile, " Rather calming things too aren't they? Hum like Whisper here does, only they don't get upset some times and try to annoy me."
