BIO:
With all histories of the Gen’Dai more known throughout the galaxy, it all started when their home planet was destroyed during the Great Hyperspace War. The planet and the Gen’Dai were practically destroyed with the survivors scattered to the winds, many forgetting their old, peaceful ways; the old saying of “perfection is permanence”. But there were the few who did still adhere to this way of living.
A small conclave of Gen’Dai, thinking themselves the more pure of the species, wandered the galaxy to find a new home and establish a new beginning for their people. Ulgra was among this sect, being born into it before acting as a keeper of the Gen’Dai history, or “chronicler” as many would call her. Not only was she among the few to preserve the history but intended to teach it to future generations of Gen’Dai to help them see the true way of their people.
The group traveled from place to place, settling on one planet for about a month at most before some conflict or other would force them away. With all the troubles in the galaxy, and how it had effected their home, the last thing this group of Gen’Dai had wanted was to become involved yet again. Not even with Ulgra’s rare use of the force, something not too common among her people, had made them changed their minds. Even Ulgra herself agreed it wasn’t worth it.
While the youngest of the group Ulgra herself proved to be very wise and knowledgeable. She not only preserved the histories but studied them as well. The old philosophies of the Gen’Dai had proven to be practically inspiring. She intended to not only teach the Gen’Dai but any others she could in the hopes that it would end the conflicts of the galaxy itself.
The group eventually found a decent enough settling on Felucia. While the planet was hot and dangerous with wildlife it was isolated enough to allow the Gen’Dai to be left in peace and away from anyone else. And for the longest time they remained so, staying within Felucia’s jungles for hundreds of years. And then came the start of the Clone Wars.
While only rumors to them at first the Gen’Dai finally realized the great conflict before them and how it would come to their home soon enough. While many agreed to flee there were some who wanted to stay and protect their new home. Conflicted emerged among the Gen’Dai and some argued that they would never be free of war and instead had to face it. In the end half of the Gen’Dai left, never heard from again by the others. Ulgra was among those who stayed but many whom she tried to teach in the ways of peace had left, making her start to question for herself.
When the Confederacy of Independent Systems had first arrived on Felucia the Gen’Dai were forced to destroy the scouting parties to hide their presence. This failed as it forced the droids to send out any and all forced to wipe them out. Many Gen’Dai died in the fighting, the survivors running only to be discovered later on by the Clone Army of the Republic. The remaining Gen’Dai were kept safe but, as per a secret order sent by Palpatine, one Gen’Dai was taken as a secret test subject: Ulgra. Her knowledge would prove to be a valued asset as Palpatine planned to use it to control the other Gen’Dai in the galaxy.
Ulgra was captured and hidden away in stasis until the eventual rise of the Galatic Empire. It was during this time that she was brought out of stasis and tested on by the Empire’s scientists. She was kept on a moving science ship in order for the rebels to never discover her and half the other experiments the Empire worked on.
After many years of torture Ulgra finally broke, attacking with all of her might. She tore through the ship and eventually forced it down to the nearest planet: Hoth. There she escaped only to endure the sudden cold that forced her to pass out and eventually be buried in snow. And there she has since remained, kept in suspended animation while awaiting the day when she would finally wake.
