Private Ugh, Whatever...

The Temple on Coruscant could always be a beehive of activity. Jonyna more often than not avoided it for that reason, prefering her own company and those she chose. But then again, maybe that was old habits. She figured a stroll around the temple wasn't the worst idea, especially as a way to keep up her exercise. Who could she run into around this time of day? She had no idea. The Late Afternoon on Coruscant was a strange time, where families had gone to bed, and the younglings were often getting prepped for bed, or out playing amongst themselves. It warmed Jonyna's heart to see that, but she couldn't help but be a little closed off about it. Kids. That was a luxury she thought she could never afford.

Who could she run into now?

If there was one thing that Voli liked about Coruscant, it was the massive skylines complete with the thousands of speeders that passed by it. Just seeing the many speeders that go by in a horizon helped put Voli at ease, it painted a picturesque view of Coruscant a city planet where everything was possible. "Was that a cheery thought," the young woman smiled to herself. Voli sat on the couch in front of the Jedi Dormitory sipping on some black coffee she made in her room. Everything felt like it came into place ever since Voli entered the Jedi Temple, she trusted her instincts and ran away from her parents. She needed to control her power in the Force and thankfully she found someone who not only was willing teach her but shared her unusual tastes in Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic .

Voli took a deep breath and sipped more of her Coffee from the corner of her eye, she saw Cathar approaching her. A smile slowly formed on Voli's lips as she gave her a small nod. "I'm even greeting people now." Voli muttered. "Feels strange."

Voli's moment of serenity was interrupted by who appeared to be Cathar. She'd seen a couple of Cathars back at Coruscant High but they were very rare. Voli always suspected that the main donors of prep school didn't like non-human species "invading" their school and did what they could to prevent them from enrolling their kids. Though they paint themselves as a beacon of democracy, the Galactic Alliance had a ton of issues when it came discrimination of non-human species. Many of Voli's classmates families were descendants Imperial remnants from back in the New Republic era, and the still held those same prejudices nearly a thousand years later.

"It's a good thing the senate got off their ass and passed the ERA bill," Voli thought.

"I'm good," Voli smiled. "Just enjoying a good cup of coffee and taking in view, It's nice to look at something that's not filled with darkness and despair every now and then."

She took a sip. "I'm new here," Voli said. "I'm a youngling or a paddie, whatever newcomers are called. Name's Voli."
