PHYSICAL INFORMATION
qRNFcST.jpg

Age: Late 60’s
Force Sensitivity: Master
Species: Human-Epicanthix Hybrid
Appearance: An aging human, Tyrus’s hair has turned grey and his skin has begun to wrinkle and lose its color. Dark circles appear around his eyes, however he remains a proud figure, radiating authority. His eyes are dark brown with flecks of green, which turn yellow when he is angry or severely distressed.

Tyrus is a tall man, with a slender build. Decades of service have cost him the strapping sinuous build of his youth, though he still maintains some muscle definition on his arms, legs, and chest. Age has set in on his body, particularly his hands which have the early signs of arthritis and veins on the back of his palms clearly visible.

He wears black trousers and a loose-fitting shirt, a broad, high-waisted belt, and tunic resembling those worn by Jedi only in a dark color. With this he usually wears a pair of gauntlets and greaves, left unpainted metallic. Over his tunic he sometimes wears a long hooded cloak, almost like a jacket and sometimes a helmet with a long rear brim to protect the back of his neck.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: Tyrus Ren | Warlord | Despot
Loyalties: Independent
Wealth: Tyrus has very little material wealth himself, having never felt the need to secure his financial stability during his time serving the Supreme Leader.

Notable Possessions: Tyrus carries a single red lightsaber with an intensehttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Exar_Kun's_lightsaber blade and wears simplistic armor and tunic underneath a Cloak of Hate.

Skills: Tyrus Ren is a Master of the Force and of the Lightsaber, however he much prefers the use of the blade using his mastery over the Fundamentals of the Force to supplement his combat abilities such as using the Force to amplify his physical characteristics, mind tricks and sense abilities, telekinetic powers, precognitive visions, and the ability to cloak his presence from the sense of others. His skills with a Lightsaber center around the new Strong Style and the classical Form V Djem So and Form II Makashi, making large powerful blows supplemented with precision strikes and fluid movements. Despite his preference, Tyrus does possess knowledge of the other five forms of classical combat.

As a leader, Tyrus is a skilled manipulator, though not the greatest orator. It is his ability to charm and manipulate those close to him into acting in his best interests without the exchange of promised returns that makes him a proper leader. His Force abilities and authoritative demeanor provide him with a sense of gravitas when he speaks and Tyrus is intelligent enough to make use of them to his advantage.

As a commander, Ren isn’t inept, but he’s not known for his genius strategic mind. His tactics are simplistic in nature, relying on brute force and stalwart soldiers, but usually effective even with heavy casualties.

Personality: Tyrus Ren is a somber being, rarely cracking a smile from his stoic nature. He is cold, calculating, and dour with piercing eyes. He has grown more paranoid in recent times, only granting his most trusted confidants private audiences and surrounding himself with brainwashed guards when in public or on the battlefield.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: Lightsaber | The Force
Combat Function: Tyrus Ren is capable of filling several roles, being an adequate battlefield officer and capable of piloting various craft, however he doesn’t excel in those roles. Instead, his strength is as a slow, methodical warrior, advancing on his opposition and slaying them at close quarters. He makes use of his own blend of Lightsaber Styles supplemented by his fundamental uses of the Force to overwhelm and outmaneuver his opposition.

Strengths:
  • Presence: Tyrus Ren expels an aura of authority, commanding respect and dominating any room he is in, invoking fear and awe with his cold stoicism from his followers and enemies alike.
  • Power: As a Master of the Force and an experienced warrior Tyrus Ren embodies the definition of power and might. Whether it be with Lightsaber, the Force, or other weaponry, his might is unrivaled among his allies and followers.
Weaknesses:
  • Pride: After years serving others, betrayals, plots, traitors, treasons, and purges, Tyrus has developed a mild paranoia for anyone in his inner circle and thus is wary of any gaining popularity among his followers. Of course, having survived all these attempts on his life, Ren has also developed a sense of invulnerability, as though his will and determination shields him from death, and that his paranoia is merely heightened awareness.
  • Age: Despite his great power, his body has begun to feel the effects of age such as arthritis in his hands and knees, and the general degradation of his body from the curse of time has begun to set in, sapping him of his endurance compared to younger warriors.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It began as always, with the desire for power.

Tyrus Ren was born before the end of the Four Hundred Year Darkness, when the chaos brought on by the Gulag Plague was still ending and the stars were still only sparsely travelled. Tyrus as a young boy showed an affinity for the Force, training as an Acolyte to a fringe group of Dark Siders in the Unknown Regions for the majority of his youth, developing his abilities and training among others. Despite his many strengths in combat, Tyrus learned early in his life that to stand at the top, was to wear a target for all beneath him to see. Unfortunately, inspiration for leadership nor power to control came to him at a young age. His desire to serve a being greater than himself blinded him from true ambition throughout his formative years.

It was the First Order, the first of the Imperial Bloc to emerge as a true power, that attracted him, not for the glory, but for the clarity of purpose. Life was simplistic for the now adult Tyrus, follow the Supreme Leader to the ends of the universe, strike down those that would oppose him, and act as a bulwark to keep those under His guidance in the safety of His shadow. Tyrus devoted himself fully, mastering his control and spending years perfecting his trade on countless battlefields and innumerable lessons.

But it was not to last.

As with every empire, there is a rise, and it is always followed by stagnation and the eventual collapse. Tyrus denied it, ignored it, suppressed the awful truth from his mind until it became too clear to ignore. When the Knights of Ren were purged, some of them escaped the slaughter to hide, like vermin in the sewers of the galaxy, cloaking themselves from the Force and staying among pirates, gutter-scum, and criminals to survive.

Tyrus Ren and a group of others escaped, but they soon fell to infighting. Some hoped that by killing their comrades they could be spared the Supreme Leader’s wrath, as if reason and logic still held any influence. Tyrus took up his blade and instilled order amongst those hiding in the gutters and sewers alongside him. Any who desired to return to the old ways they had been raised with were slain, only those few willing to do what they must to survive remained. Because it was always about survival. To endure and prosper, and Tyrus had spent his life enduring the whims of other men, he would do so no longer. Now, it was Tyrus's turn to prosper in the ashes.
