Strengths:

• Capable of stunning of stunning organics and droids/cyborgs/synthetics an with a combination of intense sonic waves and jammers. Great for crowd control.
• Hardened against EMPs and Ion attacks, though especially powerful emissions like those from a capital grade weapon could still disable or permanently fry the grenade.
• Comfortable form factor that also enables grenade to be thrown farther.

Weaknesses:

• Non-lethal, having little to no stopping power against opponents in terms of physical damage.
• Jammer is ineffective against more powerful vehicle grade sensors.
• The sonic detonator cannot be used within vacuums.
• Form factor and coloring does not mesh well with standard camouflage schemes.

DESCRIPTION

Upon special request, Jyoti crafted crafted a new set of handy tools that she figured Josh may find useful in his missions. Inspired by the special jamming features of the Firebolt Repeater, she married together a sonic detonator with elements of a personal sensor jammer to create a new kind of stun grenade. It works great at not only disorienting organics like a classic sonic detonator, but also disrupting the personal sensors and targeting systems of droids/cyborgs and armored soldiers.

Aside from an obvious unique avian form factor - especially modeled hide its true purpose while also maximizing ergonomics and throwing distance - a distinctive shrill noise is generated when active. Following initial activation, each grenade has enough power to last a full minute.

They are reusable, with power cells that can be easily swapped out or recharged.
